Right guys...you know me and my painting of things. im going to be getting my new asus p5e board and reaper RAM tomorrow. (both black)

Sooo....I need a new colour to do the inside of my case..or should i keep my red???

http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=20785

Thats my current colour...ThermalTake Armor Jr ...anyone think of anything??

and ...reckon i could put anything in my coolant to change the colour to make it all themed???

So you guys are deciding on my colour..Who ever thinks of the nicest one will have me spray it that cololur tomorrow and on wednesday and have it done by thursday when i get home!!

Cheers guys...

hmmm...maybe..just alot of masking work to be done if i do that but would look good i must say. plus im not really doing anything for the next 3 days so masking would take up my spare time. would be fun

ok...when enough thoughts get chucked down..what do you suggest for a type of paint to use??? clear coats, primers etc.....?

oh and also, what could i add to my coolant to make it another colour? might sound thick but would food colouring be ok, or something like a fabric dye??

ha ha ha. nice idea guys. my old case was UV green and DAMN it glowed like a

with the UV in it. Looked good though...keep the ideas coming...patterns will do too.....or i could try some effect if you guys can tell me how. :worship:

Damn hippies.

I like the camo idea. Would look well swish.

Or some sort of iridescent oil spill/beetle effect (actually a beetle case might be a good mod, my tutor would <3 it (she's an entomologist).

I'd say go with good quality paint for a good quality finish. Sand and wipe clean -> Prime -> sand and wipe-> prime -> sand and wipe-> colour -> sand -> colour -> etc Dunno if you'd need a clear coat. Only really use it for high traffic areas to slow down abrasion. It can give a nice sheen though.

with the camo you'd need to leave time for the paint to really dry before masking the new layers. nothing worse than taking it back to primer in one fell peel.

good luck with whatever you go for.

Cheers guys. I shall do something/ i promise. then ill get back to you all. im buying the paint tomorrow night . so might not get on with it for a while, as in, thursday when i get home.

Loving the suggestion. Nice wide range.

Cheers guys!

(w8ing for some1 to do this)

temp changing paint??/ iv never heard of that one...

I was thinking of completely changing my theme.

Going for something completely new. might be selling a monitor to fund this too...dont quite know yet...

I've always wanted to see a black and white theme, Black PCB, white interior and coolant, black case. I'll do it someday, when I get the time.

im going to sell this computer to build a new one and start from scratch.

Some nice ideas . I was thinking along the lines of a radiation theme. Gods knows what colours though....:D

When it comes to radiation, green is always fun.
