New Case!!

well my new case finally came through, along with the new cpu, the only downside of it is that i manage dto cut my self qiuet badly 3 times on the case, enclosed are two pics. one of the extremely sharp edged case and one of my poor wee hand after it got sliced like pedigree chum

oh heres the pc stats

asus a7n8x-vm/400 mobo

geforce 4 mx 128 meg(underpowered to say the least)

380 megs of crucial 400 mhz ram, running overclocked.

amd athlon xp 2800+ not oc'd yet due to high temps (40c resting)

seagate 40 gig low proflie hdd.

lite-on 48x cd-rw,

air cooling on cpu and psu

well the stats on the hardware are better than yours apart from the ram and graphics, annoyingly two very limitig features

least mine aint a JETWAY :bootyshak , and i can oc it , main reason i got tht asus mobo, and yep they are bad cuts, i slit a knuckle clean open whilst remocing a 5 1/2 inch metal back bezel. oh well, what do you get for a 15 quid case, crap in this case lol

the jetway is on my disposal list! and overclocking will soon take place once i get a dfi lanparty mobo

n my case cost £15 and i dint cut myself once! that is mainly because mine has no sharp edges!

My $50 Aspire X-Gear before that, didn't get cut. My Super LanBoy, i didn't get cut either.

also he is currently expreiencing tecnical dificulties! asin he is having to reinstall windows for the 5'th time! and i dont know whyhe will tell you when he comes online

right im back, first of all stop trying to flame me ionicle or i wont mend your comp wen you blow it up for the umpteenth time and yeppo its an ebuyer case, i miscalculated my finances (to say the least) and had to settle for a case made from recycled santa clause. im gonna give casecom a tip. red and black dont mix.

anyway the "techinal difficultys" were the crappy nvidea drivers not updating properly which in turn stopped the tv-out working. all sorted out now. did a performance test on that microsoft game tester, and i was surprised to say the least. when i had an exact same system, part from a pc chips mobo, the comp wouldnt even play need for speed underground 1. i replaced the crappy mobo with n asus, and now the stats for my pc are at the far green for running nfsug2. shows the difference a mobo can make. the mobo was well worth 60 quid, which is a good price for the performance boost its given the sustem.

yeah i cut myself a few times on my case when i was cutting my exhaust fans hole, sharp edges

thanks for the encouragement, i just bought two neon blue case fans, and next week im goign to get 2 12 inch cathodes, some uv reactive molex heads, a uv lamp and if i have any money left,a cheap window kit. oh, and some black spray, that red case front has to go

and i cut myself whilst removing the metal drive bay covers, for sone daft reason the case fron wont come off, which means that i have toreach into the case from the left side and blindly tug at the plates, which aint a good thing to do on an ebuyer case.
