So i am come to you guys for some help.. I am in the process of getting ready to do a little upgrade. i will first list my current system then tell you my upgrade, and i look for some thoughts or ideas or change suggestions. I will also put in brackets if its staying or being changed out.

Current:

-PSU: pc power and cooling 610 [keeping]

-case: Thermaltake xraser Full [keeping]

-dvd: Sony DVD rw [keeping]

-MB: gigabyte ga-m57sli s4 [change]

-cpu: Athlon x2 5600 [change]

-ram: 2gigs ddr2 800 [change]

-video: EVGA 9800gtx+ [change] maybe - might keep a little longer, save cash

NEW:

-Video: EVGA superclocked GTX 560TI

-Board: gigabyte ga-880GMA usb3

-cpu: Phenom 2 x4 3.4ghz

-ram: pny optima 4gigs ddr3 1333 pc3 10666

*** might consider SSD for C:/ 100GIG, depending on funds.

=my upgrade budget is right around 500.00
 
Speaking as a AMD fan, the Monkey's right. If you can stretch to 2500K then you really should. Even if you have to stick with the 9800 a bit longer.

EDIT: If you really can't go over the £500 mark then you could go for this motherboard instead but I haven't used this company myself so I don't know what there like and the board Monkey spec'd is a new Z68 board which are better than P67 boards. This is still a good board, although it doesn't support SLI or Crossfire but it looks like you only use one graphics card at a time which is why I suggested it.
