New build need help and suggestions

I think I'll most likely go with the 800d now seeing as how I'm not going to be running anything extremely hot until I upgrade, and when I do I'll be putting them on water. =]

Now that I think about it. I think they made it so that the 650d cannot accommodate a 360mm rad at the top because sales would go towards the 650d and make the 800d that much more obsolete. Just a thought.

Could possibly be, but with a bit of modding you could definitely put one in. I think if you could buy it for the price it's at and you could fit in a 360rad then I think it'd be worth the cost of it. It's an amazing case (I have one

) but I'd say it's worth £100 at the moment really.

I think another case that's great is the Silverstone TJ07. It's expensive, but for water cooling, I'd definitely consider that over the 800D, but again it depends on what's going to make you happy the most. It's also highly customisable as well.

I have and like you said it's expensive. I would love to get the tj07 or the tj11(wow this thing makes the tj07 seem like a budget case) or some other cases that are just as good, but they are too expensive for me in my option. I think I have to draw the line for the budget on the case at $250. I also have the corsair sp2500 and I think it'll look nice next to the sub or something. I don't know. The 800d seems like it's fairly functional, has nice aesthetics, and it's relatively cheaper than the alternatives. Wish there were more proper cases for purposes like these. =T

I understand completely. Unless you're well experienced with cutting and customising the standard case, it's going to be pretty expensive when you purchase something that's already done for you.

Maybe you could wait until the Cosmos 2 comes out?

Okay, the new plan. lol

Changes from original plan

Mobo : some cheap one like MSI H61M-E33

Case : corsair 650d

PSU : corsair ax850

What I'm going to do is use this until ivy bridge comes out. Then I'll switch over to ivy bridge with the new chipset. I'll then use the sandy bridge processor and motherboard and build something small for light work, like homework or browsing. I was also going to use a hard drive instead of the ssd, but looking at the current prices of hard drives made me sad. =[
