New build and what-not

So I'll be building my first real rig and just want a few things checked up on.

Firstly, the specs:

Intel i5 3570K
Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO
Gigabyte Z77X D3H
8GB of Kingston HyperX Genesis @ 1600MHz
ASUS Radeon Direct CU II 6950
Western Digital Blue 500GB SATA III
Corsair TX750 V2
Enermax Hoplite case

This is what I'm planning on buying, although I already have the case, GPU and HDD.

Now there's a few things I'm worried about, firstly I'll be installing 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate from a bootable USB which I created using the Microsoft USB DVD download tool, I'm not sure whether this will work or not as I rarely hear of people first time booting from a USB.

Secondly, I've heard that the RAM may only run at 1333MHz and I'll have to activate an XMP profile in the bios.

If anyone could reply, thanks :)

Yeah don't worry about the RAM. enabling the XMP is a piece of piss! Otherwise seems like a relatively solid build to me

In regards to the bootable usb, it's a piece of cake and quite common practise. Assuming you don't have an OS on your hard drive, just plug in the usb, select the operating system when prompted and it installs :) Getting the RAM to work at its rated specs is also very easy, it's just a matter of enabling XMP in the bios which is literally toggling one thing.

Thanks, I just wanted to be sure as it would save me £5 from buying some blank discs. and I'm at the very end of my budget.
