New AMD Rig Pics!!

Nah the 2 comments i know from him are against ASUS and Antec. With both i have very good experiences....

And to write that Antec is junk.... yeah thats just stupid ;)

ASUS = great stock board , for intels they make good ocing boards too . I called them shit for AMD boards , there is a difference.

Antec = read my post before , like i said , antec are decent psus but cant handle the latest systems. Want an example ? About 90% of the MSI Neo2 owners for A64 using Antecs experienced either the motherboard or the psu dying , more often than not BOTH dying. The problem got so out of hand that MSI stopped recommending using an ANTEC psu with that board.

And yes , in my view , myself being an overclocker , ANTEC and ASUS are both not worth spending money over. There are MUCH better products out there for cheaper prices.

Getting the most Value-for-money is also one of the fortes of overclocking ;) .

@ Matt and Frag , thank you for your support and confidence guys .

That would be @ Matt and Matt ;) hehe How many Matt's do we have on this damn forum now? Probably too many!

Any time man, swing by more often, seems like u only post when you absolutely HAVE to, which isnt a problem because your posts are always spot-on and full of vasts amount of info, we just want you to do more of it :D

C yaz around! :wavey:

Edit: What's up with ur AIM Bourne? It shows u online but when I try and message u it says your unavailable?

@ Bourne, yeahh. ASUS' boards @ stock rip up teh bencies on certain platforms on their nice boards. I've tried to OC with a ASUS P4 board and hated it because, instead of a FSB adjustment, it had "5% Overclock, 10% Overclock, 20% Overclock, 30% Overclock."

I've never seen anything like that before

The A8N has the normal overclocking features + the noob mode :D

But anyway i had no problems at all OC'ing with my parts but if other ppl do i will just trust you guys.

well my antec holds my 12v perfectly stable....but unfrtounately it holds it at 11.9 constantly. i would hope it is BIOS issue becaus eit NEVER moves, also my 5v rail stays at 4.9 and my 3.3v rail at 3.3v. they never move, i am beginnign to see a conspiracy.

my power unit (which is failing, cos i left it on in a lightening storm!) 12v rail is at 10.9, 5 volt rail is at 4.0 and 3v rail is at 2.6V, i'm suprised my comp stil works!

Are those readings from the computer/bios or did u take them with a DMM?

he could not have the enough current to support the proccy, is it in a pattern like for example every minute or when you open certain programmes
