need major help

hi guys

yesterday I received Farcry2 and wen I installed it it sad I have to update my VGA drivers. But I can't install them (178.13 / 178.24).this is what I get to see at the end of installation wizard (178.13)

it's saying that my System has not been modified. Repeat the installation later again to install this program.

when i try to install 178.24 drivers that I download from NVIDIA site I get to see this it sits there for 2min or longer then at the and I see this

I even tried on freshly installed vista x64. And I still get the same result.

so plz some1 help me!!!:bow::bow::worship::worship:

yes i had installed SP1 but now few min ago vista installed 178.24 drivers by it self and I have no clue how it did that and were the problem came from

wen yesterday and today it tried to do that like 5 times

iam on vista and it does the exact same for me auto installing drivers for my 9600 gt also 178.24 iam on a integrated vista from this month with all updates included that also can do it btw : ik ben ook nederlands

ya this problem has my fend now to hes on vista home prem x86.

ho know's why it this hapening because I always have this problem after 1 year with new vga card.

I don't understand, maybe try an older version of the software to see if it will install or a newer version?

How bizarre. It could be that although the bump of the revision is higher, the driver components for ur card dont require updating.

Hasn't 180 gone live ?

(I usually ignore when a "game" says I need new drivers)

I can install the drivers before 178.13 drivers without the problem.

and YEAS FC2 runs with 178.24 drivers really, good better then on 177 drivers

ps 180 drivers are still in beta they are now on 180.20 or .24
