Need for Speed Discussion/Bragging Thread

I'm already bored of Need for Speed. The Multiplayer is seriously lacking. Story mode is finished, acting was horrendous.

Only thing that is still fun is creating the liveries. time to continue with "The Division"

Random NPCs driving head on during a race, traffic on races? thought this was organised illegal street racing why arn't the roads closed? (Go away pizza boy).

The elastic sensation you get while racing or drifting, the way the cars magnetize to the barriers or opponent cars, the lack of closed crew sessions, zero ability to create tuning profiles that can be switched before a race.

Dumb AI, oh I could go on and on.. but for some reason we still go back to it. Maybe it's the customisation and tuning I don't know, but it does have some strange attraction.

THIS!

zero ability to create tuning profiles that can be switched before a race.

i thought i was the only but it irritated me that i always have to go back to garage, switch again, save, go to map, select blabla when you literally jump from drift too grip races all the time

you guys know you can jump to an event from the garage so you can skip one loading screen?

Played this 2 days ago on the XB1 and it look good albeit the 30FPS was starting to strain my eyes which I haven't experienced in years.

I just bought a CD key for Origin and HOLY BLAZING HELL BALLZ !

The difference is night and day !

Not just the smoothness but graphically it is amazing how sharp it is.

Yeah it was graphically impressive, sadly only at night with clever lighting effects.. It really did lack a proper day/night cycle, the levels were just awful very little point in upgrading cars as the rubber banding killed the races.

The tuning and physics are just wrong on all levels, it doesn't know whether it's a sim or an arcade racer, very twitchy.

I only paid £10 for it and feel I got about that out of it before uninstalling it.

I think that's the only area the console really did really well in, Zero rubber banding but then again on console it's helped with Xbox Live, On Origin you have to solely deal with EA :o

The best thing that game did was avoid a full day cycle. Night time suits the underground series far better.
