Need advice for £500 rig from Aria

ok looks like ill have an extra £150 to buy hopefully a better case and decent cooler. i could probably stretch to an extra £200 ontop of the £500 voucher as i do really want an ssd which i know nothing about ssd's it will only be used for the OS which is windows 7 ultimate x64

i have decided to get the msi z77x D3H motherboard as i like the look of it and it has alot of possitive reviews ill only have a very minor o/c as this new pc will have to last me at least 2 years im thinking 4.0ghz enough so any advice very welcome

MSI Z77X D3H? The Z77X D3H is a gigabyte board For Z77 I would recommend sticking with MSI, the GD55 is a great board and is about the same price as the Z77X D3H

they dont have the gd55 in stock at aria at the mo they may have by the time i can get it all.

If you're not planning on overclocking much, the G45 would be just fine. Hell, I think the G43 would be fine for 4GHz.

Just a few things I picked up on:

Aria/OC3D free shipping doesn't work on discounted items (superspecials etc) so I'm thinking it may not be eligible as part of the voucher?

I really wouldn't bother with a Blu-Ray drive. You need a program that is actually licensed to play them and there isn't loads of them out there. You also need a HDCP compliant monitor and cable, although if you're using DVI/HDMI it shouldn't be that much of an issue.

Other than that, I think what's been suggested is the best value for money tbh.

already checked your correct on the delivery option but its only £10 so im not too worried about that. as for blueray drive im not getting one my 22" lg monitor is hdcp compliant though...

i am getting an external sata dvd writer though so i can reinstall etc my current system doesnt have a dvd drive at all and i cant pull the one out of my kids pc as its so old it has 2 ribbons lol i borrowed a friends dvd drive when i moved to windows 7 on my current pc but i can revert that back to xp so my kids will have it once i get my new parts etc..

Edit: this is my revised basket my wife said i can have £250 to get what i want and well i decided to go with my dream case anyway i hope you guys approve that this will be a good use of my prize >>

My system is relatively similar and I can run the games that you were talking about easily. You can't go wrong with the list put together.

For a case you may want to look into getting a case from ebay as they are a fraction of the retail price.
