im gonna need help i won 2nd prize on the christmas comp and have a £500 aria voucher,

im looking through the website and have my heart set on an i5 bundle but im wondering if i could change some of the components of it.

so i could budget in a 660ti and new case as my current pc case is well broken now the power button & front ports are all dead my austistic son manage to break it...

so any and all help will be very much appreciated many thanks

UkGouki

Easy option is: just give me the voucher?

Hahhhhh jokes obviously.

If you can budget a 7950 instead of a 660Ti then try that. Or maybe a 7870 XT (Joker edition from club 3D is very good....check review on front page)

i new we new guys wont win we got sucker in to it and lost any ways cause we are newbies so great for that i used a liberay card to see if i can win throw a liberary computer cause i dont have one but notting they pick old friends that been in the group for awhile . later dude.

Well. At least he showed his self out....

Not much of a loss to the forums I'd say.

On another note, I think I'd really like to try and 'throw a liberary computer'. Might get in trouble for it though.

you want to give me money to buy it cause i dont have money like that dam i cant even buy food never mind pay rent ethier with the money i get.

Ignore the ne'er do wells, and congratulations on your prize :)
I'm with Seumas. Feel free to use the bundles as inspiration, but i'd put together the parts yourself (i.e. pick them all out individually).
Incidentally, you can get an entire gaming rig, with Win7, for under £500. Money (read: vouchers :P) can go a long way these days)

thats why i need help and ive been here 2 years never won anything in my life ever and this will really help me with my autistic son.

he LOVES computers and designing uses paint to do things ive never seen a decent pc will be able to run some of the programs that will help him with his communication and other skills.

doesnt have to be uber for gaming etc as long as it can run adobe premier/paint shop pro etc he will be very happy for a few years :D

Tell me, is there anything you have that you wouldn't need to buy again? A hard drive for storage space? A decent PSU? RAM?
Sorry if you've already mentioned this somewhere else :)

i have a 1000w antec power supply also have a 750w thermaltake one spare just incase i wont need storage hdds ill be using my current ones i wont need an os either i can use my windows 7 key just need to transfer licence i think to the new components

basicly what i want is an i53570k motherboard 4gb ram minimum decent enough gpu to run adobe premier and maybe a few games like mass effect farcry 3 etc.

i was thinking of the 660gtx but just had a look at toms review on the 7870 better performance for roughly the same price, i will need to get a new case but can probably purchase that seperatly :D

What do you reckon?
Things to get otherwise: SSD, CPU Heatsink.

It's all down to the silicone lottery, but that motherboard should take your chip into the mid-4GHz range with a good heatsink :)
Also, you qualify for free shipping at Aria, so be sure to get on to Rawz about that if you haven't already.

looks good and ill have to wait for tom to email me my prize etc once i have it i can then set my budget for ssd and dvd drive ill pull my current dvd drive out to reinstall win7 but will have to put it back as my kids use my pc to watch there movies etc im thinking of going blueray as there cheap as chips nowadays :D

well i have plenty of blueray movies and as i sold my ps3 last year cause it was gathering dust i figured maybe get one for my pc lol spose a £16 dvd rewriter will do the job for games etc :D

i dont have any new games but will definatly buy a few for pc now ill actually have a pc capable of playing them lol

Josh is spot on with that list.

H100i wont fit the 200R. But saying that the G45 mobo wont let you rage the overclocks anyways.

okies well i have the basket ready all except cooler and ssd im looking at the ssds all stumped but i only need it for a windows 7 install so thinking a small one will do the job this one here except i was told that force drivers were better than marvel but other reviews say different things all confused lol

looking at this ssd https://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecial...A-III+Solid+State+Hard+Drive+?productId=44257

and as you said i cant ramp the overclocks i think 4.0ghz will be enough for my needs anyway so the h60i i think will be more than enough

Congratulations on your prize mate and as Tom said Josh has put together a nice selection for the amount of your voucher. Just a note, you can prob get better cooling performance out of a decent air cooler rather than going for a h60i but that's just my opinion I hope you and your son have a great time playing with your new kit when it arrives.

and Pics please when you do! :D
