So Iv been using my Roccat Isku keyboard for a while now and I want to switch to the mechanical keyboard, I'd like you guys to suggest me what kind of cherry key switches i should go for.
I only have few requirements the keyboard has to be under £120 and if possible should have white/blue backlight. I hope I'm not asking for alot in here and Thanks for all the replies :)

What's your main use of your computer? Gaming, typing, or a mix of both?

Red switches are more for gaming, blues are a lot better for typing, browns are probably the best of both worlds to an extent.

Well Im a gamer ofcourse but i do quite a bit of work for uni too so i type alot.

Brown switches are probably your best bet.
With a budget like £120, you should easily be able to manage something like a Ducky, although there actually isn't a need to be spending that much.

Any of the CM Storm ones with Brown switches and your choice of backlighting will be fine. Equally the Corsair K70 would be a good choice with brown switches.

QPad keyboards are also fairly decent and pretty well priced too.

Wow thanks for suggestions, I'll see what other people might suggest and then see what is my best choice.

I'd have to recommend the Ducky keyboards Zero Shine with Brown switches, I've had one since Christmas and now I can't go back to using any other keyboard! And I've found it fine for gaming as well as typing up uni work.

As much as I like ducky keyboards, my mate has one and as much as id love to get used to it I cant, I Was looking for something with more gaming orientated.

i've got the Isku as well and i'm waiting for the Roccat Ryos with brown Cherry's to come out in Australia. The reviews of the Ryos are limited but the ones i have seen are all very positive so the second i can get it i will.

I'm a uni student so my uses are pretty much the same as yours, gaming and typing up stupidly long essays the night before they're due.

Well I mostly play MMORPG's and few FPS games and would like macro keys on a keyboard to make my gaming earlier by making me click less buttons

You may as well go down the Corsair K95 route then, only ~£10 over budget or possibly the Gigabyte Osmium.

CM Storm Trigger Z (review here) also has macro keys - just depends on how many you need really.

Yes it is. You'd hope so at its price! :)

Might see and wait when that new Corsair Cherry MX RGB keyboard comes out, been wanting something like that for some time now but there was nothing on a market at this moment. Might go to Belfast and see if there is any shop which has all the switches shown so i can try em out.

PC world usually does, if there's one there.

Was mentioned earlier but here is a video of the CM Storm Trigger Z if you still want that "more game oriented" keyboard and need someone else's perspective of it.
