Far to expencive.

Dolph. wierless are nice but not for gaming. the delays get you killed and mad, mad, mad mad.....and mouse explodes into the wall.....

The delay is so small you won't even notice it. I can't tell the difference between my old Razer Lachesis, Roccat Kone and my G700. Plus you can always just use the usb cable when you game.

Choices choices choices. I cant choose now lol. The Xai does look really nice but the mamba is tempting me.

You get more customisation with the Xai, just throwing that out there. Rather then go "Hey look at these fancy shapes and interesting wireless/wired contraptions" SteelSeries give you customisable hardware to your liking. You can change a lot more then the DPI ^-^

Guys please dont kill me but I went with the Xai. Couldn't justify the price for the mamba and didn't want to risk it running out of juice half way threw a game. Thanks anyway guys.

P.S if the Xai turns out to be crap then I will probably get the mamba as a replacement.

Got the Logitech Revolution mouse. Its no good for gaming, and it cost me around 100£. There might be other wireless mouses out in the marked that is better but im never taking any chances of getting one again.

Philib: the Xai seems good. Is it the cable one with 5000 cpi and 8 buttons?

I agree. I got a G700 also, and it's great, love all the buttons and the programmable on board memory profiles, so you can play on any computer without any need to configure, plus the option of wireless or wired, and it charges when it's plugged in......etc

razer +1 mamba or naga

steelseries are too expensive for the functuality they provide

It's interesting reading this comment with a note to buy a Razer product as well, considering Razer products are the biggest money dump on the market. Other mice for the price of a Xai may have more buttons, which are quite useless TBQH, but they don't offer the ability to customise your mouse feedback to your liking. There's more to a mouse then buttons and DPI, something Razer hasn't figured out yet, and nor have their customers.

I am really struggling to get use to this thing. I mean it has buttons on the right hand side of the mouse. I am right handed, so they are totally pointless unless I have a double jointed little finger (which I dont) and to make thing worse I am finding that I accidentally press them when I gaming. I know you can disable them but that ain't the point.
