right, my lachesis is dying on me. So i need a new mouse.

which one should i go for guys?

G5

G9

Copperhead

DeathAdder

the issue with razer however for me neways, is that they have REALLY bad drivers.....both my lachesis and my diamonback had BSOD issues on their drivers (as does my friend who "inherited" my diamondback......)

I'm well chuffed with my G5 since buying it in May... This a great little mouse and a decent price.

That said, I haven't tried any of the others :)

I <3 my Deathadder.

Very easy to move, glides across the surface and is very precise. I was baffled at how much it increased my FPS skills. :)

i'm just worried that if i get a G5, i'm going to miss out by losing a button on the left.

(on my lachesis i use left, right, middle, left thumb button whislt gaming and the 2 left thumb buttons whislt browsing the web)

Well G5 has the two programmable side buttons as well as left, right and wheel click.

Does yours have an extra one then?

i thought it only had one?

one on the left hand side.

and I use these two on the left (i never use the middle buttons below the wheel, way too far back for me (stumps for fingers by the looks of it)):

you sir..........might have changed my opinion on this mouse........

Well like I said, I can't speak for the others, but I can say the G5 is solid as. Also looks quite good.

just bought myself the G5 2007 edition.

thx for pointing it out bro

No problemo... Be sure to let us know how you find it in this thread!

You have to you know.

right-o

had time to get used to this mouse.

not bad i must say.

i WOULD say it is better than my lachesis, the lachesis is WAAAAAY too small, and very VERY light (the one thing imo that plagues razer mice (apart from AWFUL drivers)).

its a solid, good looking mouse, not as sensitive as my lachesis which annoys me slightly, but very good all rounder.

i know it snot mentioned in your list but I absoloutley love my MX Revo mouse its comfortable and precise an has a really handy scroll wheel wich can be set to free whell mose for really fast scrolling, find it excellent for gaming and general use, plus it complements my G15 well looking simlar :-)

the G5 does seem a good mouse and I wish you both many happy fraggin's :D Suprised no one mentioned the Habu, Razer mouse, MS drivers, and I love it! Is the 2007 edition actually textured or just printed like that?

it is textured. But i find it actually helps with the grip. If i get the time, i might paint the blue lines with UV blue.
