My tubing problem

Just put together my new pc.

This is the monster, my wife told me that it wasn't coming in the house until she heard (didn't hear?) how quiet it was.

There is a titan 150 waterchiller in here with sounddampening material all around and silenx fans rather than the stock.

My only problem is that this new tubing the tygon ultra flex stuff while being great to use is kinking under its own pressure.

Any one any ideas that do not involve rebuilding stuff? It does work and the flow rate gets the temp down to 19 on the processor which is just were I want it but I don't want it to occlude and die.

Nice! You'll find that tubing will do that sometimesas air is bled out of your loop or you need to top up fluid levels. Yours though I think could be solved by adding a little more length to the tube in question. Alternatively, you could try Helix coils, but I think you really need to re-cut that length of tubing and allow a bit more.

if you don't want to disturb the system and you have some spare tubing try this

1) cut a small section (this length depends on the stress on the tube)

2) make a cut the length of the small section to open it up,

3) fit around the kinked on the inside of the curve, with the open part on the outside of curve.

4) relieve the stress on the hose by staightening it with your hand then ty-wrap the repair section in place.

you can see the strengthened section is curves less.

thanks for the advice guys ill try the double tubing idea as there is already lots of length it just sinks down under the motherboard.

Well its a silverstone fascia on a custom case, if people are interested ill stick the photos from the build in another section of the forum. But bascially I bought a silverstone case to make a HTPC and then the boss told me it wasn't going in the living room, so I made use of it by cutting it in two and the motherboard is on the other part.
