Some of the changes ahead will likely include- 1/2" Copper tubing, Braided Cables (if i can find somewhere that sells the new AXi kits), R9 290x or R9 280x x2 (undecided), Rampage Extreme IV Black Edition, a new lighting color scheme and maybe some new fans.

As it stands if you count in the 46" and Production gear this Rig already owes me in excess of $10k Aus and well its about to owe me a whole lot more :-)

I'm no water cooler fanatic but there seems a lot of un-needed tubing.....
but..... as you say though, the mod-bug is a fun yet expensive little thing :)

yea im very well aware of how much tighter my tubing could of been, i was sort of playing with it. As i said in my mind it looked one way in practice another. i just don't want to go to all the effort of making the loop imaculate when i know in a few weeks im going to be tearing it all out and doing it all again anyway.... waste of money, time and tubing!

not bad, but that really is a lot of tubing for a 2 rad and cpu loop there dude.

^

:-)

Dammit now im sitting here looking at my rig about to drain it >.< and tidy up the tube.... Gah if only it weren't 10pm!

Hey fella, calm down there!

You can use the edit button to edit your last post (please do in future as double posts are frowned upon here). :)

I've merged your last 3!!

yea when you are doing your upgrade tweak your tubing. apart from that and the pinkness its dead on lol. the 810 is a good case. i used one before my 900d.

Gave it abit of a tidy up..... shame i cant have the tubes coming from the res tighter or i cant get to the fill cap >.<

Nothing fancy!?! Fairly modest statement you have a tidy rig man! Be proud of that bad boy.

Oh don't get me wrong I love it!

But I do still consider it medicore. Those themed rigs out there look amazing. Then there are those rigs running Rigid or chrome plated copper or just copper and they just look so aamazinly crisp and clean!

And that crisp and clean look is what I want. Then ill be satisfied (I hope). When the Black Edition is released im going to swap to 13mil Soft copoer tubeing which is going to be awesome because I got some ideas I'm yet to see in other builds they may or may not not work but half tthe fun is finding out.

Ps.
Thanks for the praise its appreciated.

I'm abit of a perfectionist, I'm an electrician by trade. So I have this thing about anything I build has to be perfect to a professional Tradesman standard.

looks pretty good but why 2 rads when you only have the cpu block cooled? unless your planning on getting blocks on those gpu's then i can get my head around it :D

but overall very nice system you have there :thumb:

yea the system is getting an overhaul new mobo, sleeved cables, new gpu(water cooled), 13mil soft copper tubing, swap to a dual loop set up likely Loop1 Cpu Loop 2 GPU/Mobo plus a few other cool things ive discovered. Hopefully to be finished by the end of november..... but that all depends on when the RIVBE is released.

I wouldn't bother with dual loop, I tried it and it's just not worth the hassle, Moving back to a single loop soon.

After Much much much I'll be able to give you guys some build update pics.

Main issue has been trying to get my hands on a R4BE. (next to no boards made it to Australia for release and the few that did instantly sold out. And even now 2 months later no suppliers in Australia have been able to get stock in) I have some friends that live in Canada, So I bought a R4BE from Newegg got it sent to them and they've forwarded it onto me, Just waiting for it to show up >.<

But a few other parts that have changed since those pics is I've added in-

Asus R9 280x Direct CUII TOP
Asus Raidr 240gb PCIe SSD (Boot Drive)
Bit Fenix Sleeved Cables

And once my R4BE arrives I'll also be installing Primo Chill Rigid Tube (bending all that up is going to be an interesting experience)

All those previously mentioned items will be in the update pics but I still have plans for another couple of items to be installed being an XSPC R4BE Waterblock (I'm going XSPC over EKWB to match my XSPC Raystorm Cpu block I also need to play the waiting game and wait for a local supplier to get them in because if I could of gotten my hands on one it would of gone in with this update) and when a manufacturer releases one a water block for my GPU (apparently EKWB has one in the works)

Can't wait to show you guys the upgrades! Massive changes! Wont even look remotely like the RIG from the pics in the OP.

Gonna be crazy and confess I preferred it before you "tidied up"; sometimes unnecessary tubing is in and of itself a better option, ie to get it out of the way of components you want to show better.

That said, you definitely have something going here. Pictures are also pretty decent. It'll be interesting to see how things look now after your upgrade. :)
