My Rig Finished (for now)

Well it has been quite some time coming - I posted my original project log here a while back, outlining my purchases and what I was planning to do to my PC. The link can be found HERE.

Basically, I was switching out the original fans for the antec 900 with silent red LED fans, getting red cathodes, a multi fan controller, some dust filters and 2 GB of crossfire ram - the idea was to get crossfire certified components to make it all look red and ATi-ish.... I know the CPU cooler is the green Nvidia 9500 from Zalman, but it still looks cool.

Anyways here are the pics and specs:-

Love the red colour scheme mate :D

Thanks mate - was getting a bit tired of seeing all the blue 900's so I thought I would try something a little different lol.

The dust filters were a real pain to install on the front though because of the HDD cages going behind them

Nice build there mate, could do with sleeving the cables red too then i'd call that just about finished. That ATI ram looks nice i didn't know that existed lol need to get back into the bleeding edge building game

Good job with the red, nice to see something that isn't blue!!

I might have to get mine tidied up and pics posted soon its almost finished with a green/black colour scheme hehe

Excellent job A++

Thanks mate that is really nice to hear!:)

Yeah - Most of the cables on my PSU are sleeved in black already - well they are sleeved up to the first knuckle and then there is no sleeving - and the other cables from fans etc. could do with some sleeving too so I may have to look into getting some red sleeving kits - the only kit I have at the moment is blue so I decided not to use it lol - green and black sounds cool - like an Nvidia theme I guess?

No problem good work deserves credit.

Good job, the blue would have destroyed the colour scheme that you've got!

Yeah it's kinda nVidia'ish i guess, UV green water additive/dye, UV green sleeving (on a psu that i think is almost on it's way out now :( ) and everything else is pretty much black in a beautiful Lian Li case :)
