^^ top of case iwth new aqua computer grill in

temps are with 1.65v @ 2.65 ghz!!!

ambient is 24°

load is 46°

idle is 36°

temps are approx 2° lower than my previouse set up with teh two seperate rads were as nwo i have one with 2 fans in push pull config whhich as they are nmb fans is pretty quite!!!

as always comments welcome

things that need doing are...

1. the orientation of block needs changing so the outlet barb is to teh left not right

2. the gpu to cpu line need shortening

other than that i think its good if i do say so my self

Phil

storm and the rig look stunning, but can i make a couple of comments

Storm needs some major clampage there...

not tie wraps... get some jubilees on the job

why spend money on the Polarflo DD pump cover thing

just my opinion, not arguing with you, but just wondering :P

nice job though phil

Wow, that looks awesome!

I have that fan grill, gonna install it on the top of my case when i get round to it, best looking fan grill IMO, nice simply clean lines.

Might need to rebuild my rig first though, kinda want to reposition stuff.

That is a damn sweet setup there

Very nice mate.

You upgrade / change components even more than I do !

as im sure your aware im very image concerned when it comes to my pc, and as iv kinda made the pump so visable and almost a focal point because of where it is, the old plastic cheap tacky housing did not cut it. It looked crap and made the pump look naff, the polar flo housing although expensive does make it look a lot nicer to look at and does not make the pump so horrible to look at lol.

will stick another pic of system when i have made teh alteration i wanted to probs will be monday!!

looks nice man, and i thought my G4 looked good ;)

if i were you id do those thumbnuts/springs up well tight if you can, get some good pressure on the cpu, ooks barely compressed on the pic

still got the 90 degree elbow i see, from the pic looks very simple and prob easier with a straight barb over the restrictive angle barb?

also the tube from rad to res looks kinked?

sorry for a few minor negatives, loving the G5 ;)

keep up good work mate

i can't lookse the angeled barbs as you can see as i would get kinking in teh tubing if i had straight ones, the g5 is pretty tight atm and i dont wanna risk crushing the chip if i try and wiggle it there i no play init which to me means its locked down tight

Also its just the way the pic is taken the rad to res line is not kinked and i have deliberatly made it longer so that dont happen, trust me :P

What Mike said about the 90 degree barb - perhaps replace it with a 45degree one? The short 45 degree ones hardly kill flow at all.

look at this pic (sorry its crap)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/mikejbry/P6100642.jpg

the tube from the res to the pump certainly from your pic doesnt need a 90degree elbow

the other one imo doesnt either just loop it around as in my pic

will increase flow a fair amount as the restriciton caused by a elbow is pretty high

a 45 degree elbow is much better but still not as desireable as a straight barb ;)

cheers for pic the red line is impossible teh graphics card is about 1 cm away from the bottom of the barbs so no can do that one, when i make teh changed i wanted to i will try your barb idea on green line

*edit* looked a feasablity of teh green line and not possible ill take apic later to show why in more details but suffice to say there aint enough room! between barb and case to get tubing in!!

as you can see last time, iv changed the ram to some ocz pc 4000 vx gold, got a silent x 80mm cooling the ram keeping at a nice 40°c load now!!

iv changed the routing of tubing by re-orintating the block around which also helped me find out my block wasn't making proper contact also shortened teh tube from gpu outlet to cpu inlet and the same from eth pump outlet to gpu inlet, also dont a bti of minor re-wiring as well as my matrix orbital, this si it in its pretty much finished state TBH not much more will be done to it asthetically, changing eth psu when teh new targan modular come sout which i saw at i24 and i have to say it is very nice with all its lines braided and may change to a 7800gtx later this week!

Thats it folks opinions welcome but dont moan about the 90° barbs as i cant change em and i am happy with teh tubing now anyway

yea i had one with it but it was bent and it wasn't a proper aqua computer one as the res is infact innovtek but i may get one who knows?
