CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 620 2.6GHz (AM3)

Mobo: Asus M4A785TD-V EVO (AMD3) :yumyum:

Case: Galaxy Black Mid Tower Case - with a 450 watt PSU. - £30 @ ebyer!

RAM: Crucial 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 - i think, i'm still browsing, suggestions needed lol!:worship:

Graphics card: I'm not too sure at the moment, i deffinatly want DX11 ATI something in the Raideon maybee- Nothing over £150 it needs at least 1 VGA output.

The Mobo has an Integrated ATI Radeon™ HD 4200 GPU With 1xVGA, 1xDVI and 1xHDMI

You'll be in the lower end if you have £150 to spend on a DirectX11 card. Honestly myself I would stick with 10, but everyone is different. The lower end cards of DX11 they seem to stuff all the little bits into 1 card, they fail to impress me. I waited till I got the high end Directx10 card and I wasn't disappointed.

Other people will advise different :D.

Get a decent case and most importantly a decent PSU. Those two for £30 will be terrible, sorry.

The Antec 300 is widely regarded as a decent case for the price, though it's not as cheap as it once was.

I'd say get a Corsair PSU, something at least 400W. Remember that a cheap 450W PSu would be thoroughly outperformed by a decent 400W one, and there's a lot less risk to your components should it decide to go pop (which cheap ones inevitably do).

For your graphics card, £150 would get you a radeon 4890, which makes the most sense with that budget. If you want DX11, a 5770 is the way to go, but it wouldn't perform as well generally on its own.

Another case suggestion for you, about £10 less than the 300 but not quite as good, is the Coolermaster Elite 335. Good for the price though.

yes, it is probably crap lol but im a 14 year old with no job haha :D i like the look of those cases though, seem to be good value. and look more ... professional, and not as plasticy. lol thanks :D

Trust me it is a pain in the bum trying to work with cheap cases. I made the mistake of purchasing a cheap case for£36 but the components were around med-high range. I chose cheap PSU which managed to kind of make things break.

Having a better case will benefit you in every way. I struggled to get my 4870 in, really annoyed me! I've got a Thermaltake Kandalf SILVER if you're looking for a nice case to use. If you have interest message here and I'll start a topic in the FOR SALE page since you're not allowed to sell here (for your safety and mine:))

My 4870 only just managed to fit in the case, they're quite huge, and if you're upgrading later you're going to have to upgrade your case aswell lol.

Good luck in what decisions you make.

If you must scrimp and save a bit, the case can take one for the team, but not the PSU. You will find yourself with no end of issues that are hard to track down if it's not up to the job, and even run the risk of it damaging the other components. I've seen this many many times with cheap power supplies. I have yet to see a good quality PSU take a motherboard with it in my experience, and as you'll see from the reviews on the main site here, they're well worth the money. I'd be tempted to take some money from your GFX budget, put a 5770 in, and spend the rest on a better PSU and case if things are that tight. I think it'll be worth it in the long run.

Remember, you could save up some more in the future if the 5770 isn't man enough (should be for now) and then add another to your rig if you have a good PSU now.

how about this psu,Arctic Power 500W

it's cheap,£27.99 and i know, from experience of 2 arctic psu's previousily, it is very good.

i cant type in a url cuz i gt less than 15 posts lol, so go on ebuyer dot com and type Arctic Power 500W PSU, it is the top one.

Nooo, I wouldn't get that personally, if it's cheap it usually means, well, it's cheap!

I'd expect this to outperform it, though you may well need something with more power if you want to go crossfire at some point. Perhaps an OCZ 500W would provide enough for a 5770 crossfire, though is a little more again.

Some other opinions from people with more experience in this price range of PSUs would be welcome I'm sure. I've always bought slightly better ones, and it's served me very well so far.

my friend is using a cosair psu, he says his is great, so i think i am going to probably buy the Corsair 450W VX Series version 2.2, it is good price, looks nice and according to reviews it is not noisy at all.
