I just built a new entry lvl computer for my nephew and have a question.
I noticed when I was in BIOS that the Mobo My link has a PNP BIOS and a PNP O/S option to enable one or the other. I have never seen a PNP BIOS, in my experience which is limited the PNP has always been controlled by the Operating System. I have PNP devices installed in the computer. What option should I enable...PNP BIOS or PNP O/S and why?
Any help would be appreciated...
I know its not a great Mobo but for my nephews first real computer it is a great fit. I got the Mobo and CPU (AMD Athalon 2 x2 2600 3.2 Ghz), 1 Gig of Patriot dual channel DDR3 system memory,MSI N8400GS GPU and a Cooler Master GLite 310 Mid tower case with an ATX 420 Watt PSU from Frys for a whopping 242.00 US dollars. A good buy on any day.
