cheers mul im just about to hit the button i swapped the corsair for kingston hyper x good or bad ?? and i added a ati force 3d hd4350 graphics card cuz i got a little xtra cash today cheers for all the help cnt wait to build it

well everythings arived ive got all the new bits into the case just gotta get the psu,drives and cooler out the old case and get it all fired up. happy days

hello everybody builds all done got a pcmark05 score of 7030 quite happy with that only problem i can c so far is memory is running at 800 not 1066 but i think i may of bought memory that dosent suit the board ??

That could be because its DDR2. 800 x 2 is 1066 ;D

What are you using to check the speed?

If you did take that into consideration then it will be a bios option to change it. Think its a ram strap or something liek that. Anyways, it controls the memory divider.

Normal ones are DDR 800, 400, 333 etc,

i used cpuid there is an option in the bios for 1066 but it didnt seem to make a differnce cuz it still came up with pc 6400 not pc 8500 cheers for the help by the way lol

how about:

an amd cpu, preferrably an amd athlon 64 7750 black edition cpu.

I'd go with a graphics card, not intergrated gfx, a budget gpu such as a radeon hd 4670 or a geforce 9500 gt, ram i recommend 2-3gb @800mhz, motherboard - something like a Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3. PSU about 400w, HDD at like 250gb or even 320gb and the rest is your choice
