My modified, compact gaming area

Modded my controller with some Modsticks components. Analog sticks and triggers are excellent would recommend. Buttons look nice and feel marginally better.

Verdict on the Audioengine speakers is that they're pretty nice sounding although lacking a bit in the bass department. To be expected though given they're so diminutive.

A new keyboard - got really fed up of not being able to type in the dark. It feels great - only complaint is that the keys dim after 4 seconds or so and there doesn't appear to be a way of adjusting it.

My G9x was looking a bit worse for wear so I Plasti Dip'd it. Came out great. A really nice rubber feel to it now, much better than it was before.

Steelseries Apex Raw has backlit keys that are adjustable and stay on permanently (or switched off) but it's huge compared to your new keyboard.

Nice controller mod.

Dayyyym!! That is one hell of a project.. but look at it... just look at it! It's a master piece. :)

Thanks guys :) It was made mainly using a hand router, jigsaw, power drill/driver and a very small Black and Decker workbench. The finish was applied with a foam roller using water based flat black and polyurethane varnish.

The 'terminator technique' was adopted to complete this in 4 months.

What mesh was that?
Looks nice, i've been looking at car mesh, for the front of my pc case.
defo looks sturdier and nicer than most i've seen at events.
Looks damn comfortable too.
Im guessing trousers are to be worn at all times ... (tbbt ref)
Again really really good job!
And whats the Terminator technique?

The mesh is Diamond car grille mesh from eBay. Shipped from Poland with tracking and arrived in pristine condition.

The Terminator method - 'Absolutely do not stop, ever, until you are done' - my take on 'And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead' :)

Your set-up is amazing.. Dare I ask how much your set up has set you back so far?

I wish I was good at DIY'ing things myself. I barely could set-up my flat pack desk.

Thanks Fringie. I dread to think .... but I'll guestimate.
