Thinking of getting the Asus Silent Knight AL CPU Cooler not to sure yet though :)

Great pics m8, and congrats on the first build.

One thing u can work on is the placement of cables, running them tidily about the case. All takes a bit of thought, and if ur psu isnt that friendly with the length of cables, u may need to add some extensions or something.

Eitherway, in the longrun it makes the case easier to work in and improves ur air flow by a small %.

Aside from that, u can move away from IDE drives, or atleast improving ur drive performance by using 1 IDE drive and 1 SATA (best ofc would be all SATA) - but hey this isn't critical, just an improvement.

A cpu cooler would be a good investment. Just be sure it does a wide range of cpus, including Intel 775 (and arguably the new 1366, but that not so important just now) - this way, if u decide to upgrade to 775 (or 1366 maybe), u can use the same cooler.

I see now ur getting another 2g. If ur adding this to ur existing 2g, that'll make the Vista experience very good.

:) Thanks for the comments. Yeha my cables are real messy. I think i will buy so extensions and run the cables around the side of the case or something. Moving to SATA is what i want to do next :) Already upgraded my DVD drive to SATA so HDD will be coming too soon.

Nice set-up you have there,

But just one thing tho

one of your wires is hanging over your c.p.u. heatsink fan,

Mite get chewed up in the cpu fan.

That case is a nice one just love the way it lights up,

if thats your first build you have made its one hell of a good job on the make

10/10 from me :)

Great start mate! I'm with Rast on this one about cables though. Cable tidying is a pain, but when you get it right, it does make the set up look even better!

Oh that's a freakin excellent call.

I literally threw a pc together for some1 a few months ago. The other day I got a call that the pc, even tho working fine, is making a loud clipping noise.

U guessed it, the redundant cables I hooked up out of the way had dislodged when she moved the case forward and back to plug a printer in, and was clipping the cpu fan.

Another big shout for securing cable properly, and in this sense away from fans !

the first thing is when i make a p.c. is 2 check that theres no wires hanging over any of the fans,

just fink if a wire got stuck and stoped the fan all 2 ether on the cpu the thing wound get

very hot very fast

Another thing you might wanna do mate, just to get the insides looking awesome, invest in an aftermarket cooler for your HD4670. A dual slot will look brill. :)

Nice first build mate. Not sure on the PSU, might want to look into how good it is?

Cables could do with a quick tidy but pretty neat that apart :D

You'll soon be dedicating all of your time and money, (including social life and sex life) into computers!! You will slowly become one of us......

You dont think i already am :D lol

The PSU isnt too great its fine for now by all means but soon i want to upgrade to a Coolmaster 800w Pro. I have now tidyed up all the cables using clear cable ties and have run the cable that was going across the CPU cooler around the side of it. I decided as i upgraded to Vista Ultimate 64bit so going to get a extra 4Gb ram to take it to 6Gb :)

Skint atm but getting the extra 4Gb XMS2 ram kit and a BFG Phyx 128Mb card at the end of this month and in Jan might invest in a AMD Phemon Black (Hopefully they will drop a bit more then :P)

Aftermarket cooler sounds real nice but not sure if its worth the extra £30 or so when im trying to save for either a 260/80 or a 4850X2

Edit: Can anyone link me some nice dual slot GPU coolers and i might change my mind :D

Edit2: I love the look of this but i dont think it will fit my card: http://www.electronicsshowplace.com/tmg-at1-vga-cooler-p-154614.html

yer i bet you are Skint atm for me 2 make a nice p.c. like what you have there i would need 2 remortgage my house,:)

This cooler is excellent, however I'm not sure it will fit on your card. An email to the Akasa tech guys would probably be your best bet.

Nice job on the rig build, it looks pretty sweet.

atarist thanks again :) Thing is i cant stop upgrading it now :S lol

And Kerotan that is one sweet ass cooler big thanks for th link. Im gonna email them tomorrow at works as im about to goto sleep now :P
