Hi guys, new to the forum, did my introduction and said hello earlier this evening and now to introduce my new build which I am calling The Alcai Project (pronounced Al-Ky).
My previous build was a pre-built PC Specialist rig and craving my own spin on it I searched for a white case to match with my current growing white theme, I was on a budget and decided on the GameMax Falcon which has proved to be an incredible case to work with and MOD for the price.
I am aiming for a Rocket League theme in the future so fans were my first addition, blue and orange LED fans to represent the teams in RL. To follow I will be a adding a vinyl RL logo to the rear panel of the case. I didn't like the windowed panel that came with the Falcon so had an idea to use a cheap picture frame acrylic sheet to make the panel but didn't warm to the idea of drilling holes in it so I used magnetic strips with adhesive to stick the panel seamlessly to the ledge of the case. The PSU shroud will soon be wrapped with white glitter dust vinyl and a further panel will be made to tidy the right side of the MB.
The Asus GTX 1060 OC Dual is my newest addition to the build, the design I thought was very attractive to the eye and appeared to be the card that would fit in best with my case and theme....... I was right
Shout out to "alpenwasser" for the cable braiding who's tutorial method I used.
With my i7 6700k at 4.5GHz I have decided not to push it any further as I am more than happy with it's current performance
Comments are welcome, let me know what you think
