My first build is ready to be put together, but I have a question concerning fans.

I finally decided to make the jump on my first rig and wanted to do it right, so my question is.

I am considering replacing the stock fans with the Noctua SSO2 F-A14 IPPC 2000 IP67 PWM fans. I was going to buy 5 of them for my H440 build and use 1 in the rear as exhaust, 2 on top as exhaust and 2 in front as an intake matched with my Kraken x61 in front.

Would these be sufficient or too loud? I'm not to worried about a little fan noise and I planned on buying the Grid+ from NZXT to control the fans if needed. Would I be better going with the same model fans but put 3 120mm up top as exhaust or 2 140mm fans? Or would I benefit from 4 of the 140mm fans up front in a push pull with my x61?

I have bought most my build by now. I'm just trying to figure out the last quirks before I install all my parts, and money is not such an issue for me to be honest. I know the price of these are high.

Thank you for your help guys!

Noctua fans are known to be very quiet. Since they are PWM you could try hooking up to your motherboard and see if you can control them from your BIOS (or mobo utility).

You want to try and achieve positive air pressure so that you're not intaking dust through the holes in your case.

Positive air pressure is basically achieved by having more fans intaking than exhausting.
