My Ferrari Spec Alpha / Red & White Theme

So my first PC in over 3 years.
Have enjoyed TTL videos for sometime and actually was his own videos that helped me choose some of the components. So registered to show my appreciation. This build is mainly for racing sims and a cockpit. Something striking was wanted with a white/red/ based theme.

Yeah I choose a case many say is ugly but stuff the haters. I really like how it is different. Yes this may not be the best case for fussy system builders, comments like its not got rubber grommets do not concern me neither and yes it's size does make the cable sorting a bit of a chore.

I didn't want to follow suit with something lots of others had, nor did it need the very best components and tbh budget was a bit limited. Yet I still wanted a good spec for the money.

Mid Range System / Currently Rocking the Intel HD530 / Awaiting 2016 GPU
Minor mod done to add the SSD tray to the bottom of the case, bit of white carbon fibre wrap. Hey I am no pro system builder just an amateur giving it a go. Phillips Hue LED is individually powered and only some additional fans used to replace the stock units.

i7 6700k @4.5Ghz / Gigabyte Gaming 7 / 16GB Ballistix 2400Mhz Red & White / Deepcool Captain 240 White / Samsung Evo 850 SSD 250GB / Coolermaster 750 PSU / Corsair 2x SP 1x AF / Samsung Slim External DVD / Phillips Hue LED

Originally had Corsair White LED as exhaust but notice the difference.

Thanks for looking

Looks good but you spoil the look of it with the G1 sticker on the front when i see stickers like that on cases it just screams NOOB to me, I don't know why but it does.

Should be F1 ;)

Nice looking build so far! Haven't seen any of those Deepcool coolers in the wild so keen to see how you get along with it. They look different so that's a nice thing. It looks like a turbine so fits in quite well.

As Wraith said, the colour balance is spot on. This is my sort of rig.

Neither have I, works well in this build. I wonder if the OP went for aesthetics over performance on this choice.

Both actually were factors for the build.
Your welcome to give me a test to run and I will report back on the temps. Machine is only built two days and really would be appreciated to give some tips on tests to do. I did do Intel stress test for 30 mins @ 4.5Ghz with degrees as 13 lowest / 48 Average / 71 highest.

I agree it is not the best AIO but at £60 it is a bargain, personally I think it is much neater than say a big heat-sink (even a big white one) and is performing well.

Sticker.
Yes it is temporary, Corsairs own sail ship logo doesn't quite fit with the theme neither :)
It is Ferrari themed, though not necessarily F1. Will add a new solution to the front soon.
She's just out of the garage so to speak lol.

GPU
Has to be white so the MSI 950 OC would of been perfect for my needs (1080p). Cosmetically it is neat, low power/low noise and so small it would not cover the pretty G1 logo section on the motherboard like a normal card would. The Asus Direct CUII 960 was the other consideration but really perhaps best to hold out and see what's coming soon.

Thanks again for comments I appreciate that many of you are very much into PC builds and while this case has it's limitations it perhaps from my own effort shown isn't that bad really for a moderate system or semi serious PC user.

I edited the first page and then had a reply put in but not sure if it went through.
Will wait for a mod to confirm or will respond with another later...

Thanks all.

Here is the case with alternative colouring from the Philips Hue. While the white is very sharp and clean I also quite like the moody colours below.

I can have it set that the light changes accordingly with the TV screen action via AMBILIGHT. Below is Windows10 Desktop

When I turn the TV or PC off it goes to the static colour of choice I have set via mobile/android app.
Various apps are available with different modes/settings.
In Ferrari Red.
