My disgusting rig :D

Hey guys, So unlike a lot of you out there I really don't have much money at all to spend on pc parts and what not and I have had to make do with getting second hand parts, and finding deals on ebay.

In four months I have gone from having a Pentium D with a 5570 to having what I have now, A pentium G840 and a HD 5850, some of you may look at your 2500k 7970 rigs and scoff at mine but IMO considering that I have literally no money coming in and have had to rely on buying and selling parts I am extremely happy with what I have.

Good news Is that I have just recently got a part time job, as I live at home most of the money will be pure spending money for pc parts.

Specs first

Pentium G840 @ 2.8 ghz

Powercolor PCS+ HD 5850(950/1200)

Asrock H61M-VS

G.skill Ripjaws 1333 mhz only 4gb

Thermeltake Purepower 560w

500gb Western Digital Hard drive

Coolermaster Elite 310 - No cable managment

Anyway here are the pics, Please don't laugh too hard - Its a mess, I know

With the money from the job I am hopefully going to be doing a complete overhaul, 3570k, z77 board, new case, psu etc

I went from an ATHLON XP 3000+ to my current rig but it took me awhile to save up

Just focus on what you want and work at it, it will come true one day.

Actually you dont need a lot of money, but you can tidy up your cables, remove your hdd cage, put your hdd on the optical drive bays, it will look better

a clean case is a trouble free (and easy to upgrade/maintain) case

Which one? There is one for the cpu fan one for the chassis fan and one for the psu fan, and yeah it really is, boderline itx

I meant that the black and white one that looks to come from a header near the cpu fan and goes down to a header on the mobo above the PCIE slot(unless its just the angle of the photo)

Yeah angle of the photo the fan header is at the far right bottom corner

OT: As people have said above, you have to start somewhere. Grab some cable ties/twist ties and make it look a little cleaner inside.
