xms i had this problem for quite some time. there's supposed to be the pc speaker and there is another speaker on your vga (anyway that's what i have and i think every 6800 does). which one is beeping?? the one on the vga is ver loud and high pitched

if it was the speaker on the card it could possibly be overheating and a problem with thermal compoud/heatsink fucking him about...

it could also be that there is no sufficient power to the vga
