Was also mentioned it did the same in Single player as well, when asked if it was just online. Reading the thread eh....... so overrated

Do you F@H ? I can't F@H and play MW3 at the same time because it makes the screen jump and causes lag and stutter in both SP and MP.
Could be a bad install though, try reinstalling, unfortunately that means re downloading the game.
You have about the same speeds as me, I don't get any lag in MP. If you have anything uploading or downloading while you play MP that will cause lag though.

Linking on from what SieB said. Bring up th task manager check for running processes and see if there is anything running you have forgotten about the amount of times I have sat and scratched my head, Because I was only getting 50FPS in BF3. only to realise that I still had F@H going in the background.

I make sure to close all apps before i start gaming.
Dont f@h yet, waiting to build my folding rig.
Just had a blast on Black Ops and have no issues online there.
Might try defragging the cache with steam and see how that goes.

Defrag the steam files, re download, try something like a game boster from iobit.com or something. and if all else fails and you're feeling lucky get a fresh OS

Being a d1ck with the comments comes as standard tho.
Am I missing something or are you gamers now calling lag something that happens when you're not online ?

Guys seriously? He said it happened on single player to, obviously he didnt mean actual lag but that was just an easier way to describe it, Cerbrus it would have been better if you could have been polite in pointing out that he had said it happened in singleplayer and Rasta, there is no need for that kind of language

Assuming heavily that you bought this off Steam only yesterday, as per the other thread.
Check the patch availablity, content and do that crazy Steam file comparison thing that checks you go the files you're mean't to, and/or they're ok. (I heard rumors of patches up to yesterday. Don't ask me tho cos I don't use or like Stream/Tango/Origin/whatever)

Have re-cached and verified and am still having the same issues. Is becoming a nuisance. Might Uninstall it and re-install to see if that does anything. Played online earlier and it froze for 30 seconds then allowed me to move the mouse before it froze again
