Just been on a COD4 server and someone who bought it today came on and said dont buy it unless you want to play console type matches, just like on xbox.

yes the lack of degi servers is poor but it is fun.

9v9 is carnage, endless missiles, bombing runs and heli knocking two shades of crap of you.

It can transfer hosts, happen a few times though it has decided no one was a good host and kicked you all out.

AC47 unlocked at level 70 !!!! half way there....................

As someone said on a particular forum:

- no community.

- way fewer players.

- paid DLC

- Matchmaking servers

only kids who grow up playing xbox 360 think thats nice..

What they should do is have matchmaking servers AND dedicated server support like they did with L4D. Then it can appeal to both console/matchmaking lovers and dedicated server lovers.

The day they patch in dedicated server support is the day I purchase it.

(and on a seperate note, the SP, although fantastic storyline, I did complete it within 5 hours...so rather short).

Played a very little bit of the SP campaign and have been MPing it up tonight. Once I got over my console n00bness (took about an hour), it was damn good fun. Even managed to place twice a couple of games

having just got around to finishing the SP,all I can say is HOLY SHIZNIT!!!!.

What an epic storyline,however I am disappointed in how they left it so simillar to MW and open to a MW3.Nice to see that the SAS come out as the best again.

The single player is good, plot turns etc. It's too short though.

Will probably buy the game the day the dedicated server matter is fixed.

I still dont understand the reasoning behind their decision to remove dedicated server support, surely the developers realised its popularity and the massive competitive scene that was/is only posssible with proper servers....any1 got a link with an official reason or interview with IW/Activision?
