INTRO

Well guys, since I have enjoyed so much assembling my rig I just want to share with you my experience with Mumukin and I hope it will help somebody.
I started almost a year ago (December 2012) when I invested "some" money in hardware and decided to watercool everyhting.
At first, my only concern was to create a consistent rig without spending a fortune. I play cod4 and I like tasting any new game. As time has passed, this hobby has grown in me to the point of becoming almost everything. I am the watercooling guy at the office .

Tidy looking build you have there.
I was a little worried at first when I saw the photo with the 24 pin and cables across the front of the tube reservoir, but, it turned out well. :)

Congrat's on the build.

I was the same way when I saw that 24pin cable I was like OMFG!!!! how could anybody take that pic let alone post it. I was relieved however to see it was corrected post haste.

Looking good cant wait to see moar.

I'll be tearing down my Switch tonight in prep for the case change to my Enthoo Primo case, just not sure if I'm going to do a log about it this go round.

First full assembly. Waiting for the case to arrive to europe.

Testing the dye was fun. As I also purchased Pt Nuke PHN this had to be provisional. After a few days, I flushed everything and went DI water and PT Nuke only.

Really great red!

Finally the case arrived to shops. Caseking.de had it first.
Time to tear all down and prepare to get everything inside the glorious Phantom 820.

I won't bore you with all the process. This case is so big that with all the hardware and water cooling stuff that I had, there was not any problem at all. By popular demand, I won't post any photos with the 24 pin extension visible ^_^.

What can a bottle of Mayhems Pastel ice white do in a system plus a little time:

One week away from my next birthday I ordered a few more goodies:

Alternate.es order:

EVGA GTX670 FTW 1GB

2013-04-11

Caseking.de order:

Masterkleer 13/10 tubing
Mayhems Pastel ice white
2x Corsair SP120 HP twin pack
Noiseblocker NB-eLoop Fan B12-4
EKWB FC680 GTX+ Nickel
EK-FC680GTX Backplate Black CSQ
EK-FC Bridge DUAL Parallel 3-Slot CSQ Plexi

I changed the tubing as Tygon's was terribly clouded. One Bitspower double rotary was harmed. I was unable to untighten it by hand :(

3uue.jpg

A little testing before mounting it inside the case:

puw9.jpg

The CSQ parallel bridge give the cards a sturdy fit. For those with experienced eyes, I have to point that the bridge of the photo was not the correct one, had it borrowed from a friend while mine was coming.

1n0w.jpg

Just for looks, I pulled the PSU grill out to mount it over the 140mm NZXT fan. I changed the tube routing:

The coloured fluid just makes everything blend perfectly. Black, white and a touch of red. Aesthetically I was very pleased with the final result.

After some gaming/testing, I found deltas to be a little over what I expected. I thought that push/pull in bottom UT60 was going to make a difference, but insted of it, I was under the impression that only more noise was produced while deltas were still being almost the same as before. The upper XT45 with eloops also produced a little too much noise. The Phantom 820 gives you the oportunity of controlling fans, but B12-4's starting rpms are high enough to bother me.
As mentioned before, I became mad and the idea of purchasing an external rad grew in me.

looking good but you do know that mayhems pastel is for show cases right not for an everyday rig. It maybe hurting your temps. Also that clouding you saw in the tubing was most likely caused by the mayhems. As you did noyt have it up long enough for any plasticizer issue to develop

I though it was only aurora. I believe that clouding was more related to the incompatibility with tygon R3603. But that was the last bottle of premixed coolant that I used. Now, DI + pt nuke ^_^

And the external watercooling madness started by disassembling everything . This was my Bitpower fittings collection. It is compulsory to shot a family photo.

j2g2.jpg

That was my first plan. Pump and res over the MORA as an independent cooling unit. Borrowed some ideas here and there. Plumbing was not challenging.

z5eq.jpg

The hell of a lightning:

7ifs.jpg

The draining port was almost Bitspowered to the max.

i6h8.jpg

The route inside the case also needed to change:

j4l6.jpg

ni4w.jpg

The real challenge was to use the quick disconnects to be able to split the loop and have the case isolated from everything else. At the end it turned out pretty well.As you can see, I had to leave the chipset cooling block aside. IMO it was worthless the effort of including in the loop.
I do not know why the copper behind the plexi seemed like corroded with flash on.

I recorded a small video to show (off) to my friends. Hope you enjoy as well.

PCRelic.es order:
2x Bitspower D5 Mod kit RED
Highflow.nl order:
1x Bitspower D5 Dual Top Acrylic
Caseking.de
NZXT Phantom 820 Window Side Panel
As I really did not take any shots, I will post a short video of my new HQ in the under roof. All is provisional. I do not like the inlet of the res but that was the only way I could finish assembly without cutting any hoses. M8 was already in my mind

Some testing was carried out. Love those rads!
This little baby is a Monsta with push fans and shrouds. :)

Yes, I know, it is overkill. But I plan on a dead silent build.

2013-12-26

After many time thinking about everything twice, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered my M8 with pedestal.

Shipped!!!!!!!

900x900px-LL-f376a450_Dibujo.jpeg

Today I woke up and as the last few days, the first thing I did was check the status of the shipment. Great news, It is in Spain!!!

-------------------------

My PSU is starting to die. The 3,3v rail has dropped to around 2,86-2,9 volts. I have disabled both graphic cards and now is it a little higher @ 2,99v. AI Suite is reporting warnings every 10 sec and my mind is about to explode!
Yes, CPU and GPUs are OCed, but Hale90 PSUs have 5 years warranty!
Started RMA process 10 min ago. Crossing fingers. I do not want to receive my M8 and have my PSU on the way to somewhere.

Finally, M8 arrived to work. What can I say? I really enjoyed the unboxing. All perfectly packed up. Attention to detail is awesome. Every part, bagged separately. Can't find words to describe so let the photos speak by themselves

I did it the easy way: reasonably warm tap water, three sets of good shakes and DI water final rinse.

fo5p.jpg

yup do mine the same but I use hot water run it thru both ways via pump after doing a rad shake two-three times lol run it about 30 mins each way I have a small submersible pond pump I use for this. then run it with the pump with 1gallon DI each way fresh gallon each way then they be ready.
