I see a lot of awesome work areas in here with 2 or more monitors, but each monitor is showing the same thing or stretched image.

Windows won't let you display a different image on multiple monitors, but you can with Dual Monitor Tools:

That's one option too. The program I linked to makes the wallper, amongst other things. Thought it would be interesting...

Display Fusion. even adds a toolbar to all monitors

Create 3840x1080 image, copy/paste both images in next to eachother, set display mode to tile, done. No extra software. Simples.
