MSI M-Power Z77 strange phenomenon

Hi,
I got my Z77 M-Power quiet a while ago, but what I'm not able to fix is a phenomenon that's not BIOS related I think (because I switched between a lot of rev's) .

When I set up a monitor stdby. timer in windows e.g. 15 minutes, it turnes off after the 15 minutes time period.

Then the CPU temps rising about 10°-15° C !

I have no idea what's going on when the monitor is turned in stdby. mode?

Maybe someone has any idea, because it's on two different boards with two different bios rev's.

System: Win 7 64.

Hardware:

Corsair Obsidian 750D | MSI Z77 M-Power | i7 3770k @4.4GHz | Sapphire 7950oc @ 1.1GHz/1.45GHz | 16GB G-Skill Ripjawz 2133 @2400 | Corsair AX 850 | Corsair Neutron GTX 240GB | Seagate Barracuda 3TB | Custom-Loop liquid cooling

Fractal Design Arc Midi | MSI Z77 M-Power | i5 3570k @Stock | Club 3D 7870 Joker Card | 16GB G-Skill Ripjawz 2133 @2400 | BeQuiet 530W | Samsung 840 125GB | Samsung 750GB | Corsair H100

did you turn off the "turn monitor off after 15 mins" option in windows? under the system power settings in control panel?

Yes I tried that, but thats not the point, I want the monitor to turn in stdby., but I don't want the CPU to go crazy after the monitor goes in stdby.

I also own a Z77 Mpower but have never had any problems like that, by any chance are you overclocking? If so please check the IGP voltages and frequency.

I didn't do any changes to the IGP, it's on standard settings.
Only Multiplier 44, CPU restriction for power and the LLC.
System ist 100% stable.

BTW it's on two (2) boards with different bios and different hardware.

It could be that it's running processes better suited to an idle situation hence the CPU temp rises because of a background process? Who knows, weird none-the-less.

most likely like netroxen suggests something is cooking whilst the monitor is in standby. You only say monitor is in standby not whole rig.

Also please go back to OP and edit it to list your specs in the body of the post. this is simply cause sigs change but what your asking about in the thread doesnt. this will aide future folks having similar issues search for issues before posting.

Guys I'm aware of the fact that the system is running after Monitor Stadby.
The only thing I don't know, is what causes the CPU to heat up after Monitor Stdby.?
If Aida runs in background, it's not monitoring any aditional tasks, that could cause more heat.
