Still no point in buying this over the 570, Nvidia should hang their heads in shame and lower the price or GTFO.
No amount of marketing can make the 560ti 448 seem like a worthy purchase (unless you are a noob) especially when the 570 is the same price, performs better and overclocks further.

It's a reference 570 against a non reference 560 448 with a far superior cooler.
It's a binned chip that is not up to 570 standards yet performs better??????????????
It's a card that is the same price as a 570 but in order to reach that performance you have to overclock the nuts off it which for a 570 is a moderate OC. Also, you wouldn't want to run that OC with the 448 24/7
Look at the benches for BF3 the 570 OC's average FPS is the same as the normal 570 without an OC ?????????????
Most of the benches are benchmarks and do not reflect real gaming performance.
Sorry, not impressed, if it was a MSI 570 TF3 against this then yeah it would be good but it's not.

Well i live in canada and the prices here are different
560ti ~260$
560ti 448 ~300
570 ~350
*with aftermarket coolers*
So here its relatively well priced and for those numbers it looks like a decent option for someone with a need for one.
most tests the 560ti 448 OC even BEATS the 570 OC
all that for 50$ less reference or not its still damn good

and I was referring to UK prices seen as this is based on UK price
What you are forgetting this is overclocked to the max, you are spending 570 money for a card you have to overclock the balls off to reach that performance.
The 448 is a lot cooler because the 570 Tom is using is a reference cooler and the 448 has a Twin frozr 3, the best cooler on a GPU to date (debatable). Now if it was a 570 with a Twin Frozr 3 cooler the 570 would obviously be a hell of a lot cooler and would overclock better.
The OC on the 448 is to the limit, the OC on the 570 is moderate in comparison. And there is definietly something wrong with the 570 OC and the 570 non OC results in BF3.
But given the pricing in Canada, yes it is worth the money, over here, nope....

Apparently there's a £60 difference between the 560ti 448 and 570 (all TFIII coolers)
Now mind you I don't live in the UK, but have some friends there and asked them to check out the prices..
Bearing that in mind, I still agree that if you had some extra money to spare, why not get the 570 instead of 560ti 448? Especially with MSI binning their cards, I've seen many reaching as high as 950Mhz.. even 840 with stock voltages...
Unless the 560ti 448 aren't laser cut (meaning like the 6950 but highly doubt it since it's non reference PCB) and you're not on a tight budget, the 570 in my opinion is the way to go!
Edit: There's an offer that further cuts the diff till £72 for this week only... So yeah, I imagine it to be a great 'bang for buck' at this point.. I'd imagine that it could get a 9 for price..

Ok, maybe not the MSI 570 TFIII, last time I looked they were around £250 but it seems prices have gone up, but there is still

Well I'm not sure where my friend got the prices from, but seems that the links that you've given have only £2-3 diff with the 560ti 448... As I said before, Better off with a 570 than the 560ti 448 if you have money to spare, especially if those prices are the same...
But if prices are like what my friend stated, I'm pretty sure it would be eye catching to some... For instance, if it was released sooner and available in my country, I could've choosen it + change from 2500k -> 2600k as my choice of CPU.. Provided the prices as low are as what my friend says (£239.99 - 560ti 448 TFIII, £299.99 - 570 TFIII)
What I'm saying it, it's truly a great card that has the potential to compete with a 570 but if you're able to get the 570, then better go for a 570..
