Hi. First time I've built a computer. I've just installed all the components and when I try to boot I can't push del to get into bios, tab to get into boot order etc. Then when I get past the msi splash, I get "reboot and select proper boot device" error. Then when I put in a windows 8 flash drive and boot again, I boot into "windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause" error. I'm using a gigabyte aivia osmium keyboard. The lights are coming on the keyboard though so I know it's getting power. Thanks...

Have you tried a different usb port?
I know one on my motherboard won't accept any periferals before the bios so have to ignore it.

Ye i have tried different ports. I realised that it's the copy of windows I have. It didn't write bootsect.exe. Because it can boot into an old flash drive with Linux on it. I need some way to write bootsect.exe properly but I haven't found a solution...

With some msi boards there is a bios button on the board. Its there to assist in getting to the bios without the need to keep pressing del to do so.
Some boards have it so it might need a little look in your mb manual to see if you have it if you are having trouble getting into bios.
