MSI 7800GTX OverClocking HELP!!!

ok i cannot oc my sli 7800gtx cards everytime i try it says it failed and please return to stock speeds. i have tryed riva tuner and coolbits nutting works. ANYONE??????

Even when moving up the Core Clock and Memory by a single 5 Mhz increase you get that error?

Agreed. Also when in SLi you have to make sure that BOTH cards can OC ok.

Also I think both cards have to on the same core clock unless you are on the newer driver set (80.XX)

im using 78.01 drivers when i oc even 1mhz says the test failed to run at these clock speeds please lower and try again. i know how to oc it just wont allow me unless its locked or something.

Sounds like u may have a bunk card mate...

I wouldn't recommend OC'in the GTX's untill they release a working driver release

yeah thats what i thought because, the SLi setup obviously isnt working properly, so he should find out what card is fucking around and give it the boot.

I just took my GTX's out of SLI and every problem I have is solved... deff a driver issue.. or mabey its my crappy mobo (one of two ) everytime I watch tv, my comp locks for 5 min, unlocks, relocks, same with FS2004....

my asus ati x800pro with 1 gig ram and shitty 3gig p4 got 5g on 3dmark 05. thats 1000 points lower that what my 7800gtx card is getting.
