Hey guys i have a question i just got a MSI GTX 560Ti OC addition i am trying to over-clock to 1000 MHz on the core but i don't wanna over volt the card my stock setup is

core - 880

shader - 1760

memory - 2100

voltage - 1.025

I have only over-clocked the core to 1000 MHz and have tried different voltages up to 1.075 so far and thats matching the gigabyte soc card now i know all cards are different but i was wondering if anyone that has my card how high on the volts did you go to get it stable at 1000 MHz or has anyone been able to get it to that over-clock. Thanks guys

OK so now i have tried 1.112 volts in 3d mark 11 and it still crashed so i tried 1.125 volts and was able to run a whole run in 3d mark 11 without crashing or any problems so now my question is, is that to high? will the card be ok running at that voltage? The temps are great it didn't go above 56c while running 3d mark 11.

Dude I'm not sure. When you did the OCing the tool should have given you a range. If it's within the operating range then it should be OK. How are the temps as they're a good indication of the status of the card?

Just saying .....

well i did more testing today and found that at 1.125 volts my card max out temp at 59c witch i don't think is hot and runs fine in games no problems. I have been trying to run 3d mark 11 tho and can only run in entry mode or it crashes no matter what so i put the card back to stock and tried running 3d mark 11 in performance mode and still cant no matter what when i run in performance mode in 3d mark i get blue screens saying hardware failure or it freezes or tell me the drivers have crashed and i beleive i should be able to run 3d mark 11 in performance mode and i didnt change anything i just opened it up and hit performance and run and itl crash every time. I was looking at a review on power that the card uses at full load at it said 320 w my power supplie is 620w corsair i dont think its a power problem but i dunno and i dont know if, it could be a bad video card ,or drivers issues im pretty stuck right now lol

Try run a Memtest and check drive for errors, unlickely but could happen. That PSU is more than fine for that card

my dominator ram was bad i just sent it back and put new ram in my computer to days ago but I will check it anyway and when i first got the 560 i used a beta driver that was no good so i went back to a different driver but i didn't do a clean install i just selected nvidia to do a clean install i don't know how accurate it is tho.

It was my overclock on my processor that was making it crash i took the overclock off and it ran 3d mark 11 just fine but i still dont understand why lol
