Moving to 64... help me choose!

yeah im definatly going to install it in the room of my house without carpet... haha yeah and anti-static wrist band sounds like a plan, too :D I HATE RMA'ing so im going to try my best not to fry stuff

it is incredibly hard to fry stuff by static electricity, you have to be real stupid and unsafe to do it
 
what about more risk in wearing a jumper / sweater how ever you interpret it...

im sure there would be more risks with the friction that would cause

Just make sure you ground yourself against something metallic before you touch any circuitry, chipsets, GPU or CPU mate and you'll be fine. You don't really need the anti-static wrist straps :)
