Hey all

I am looking to buy a socket 939 64 bit motherboard and processor. I know which processor I want ( Venice 3200 ) , but not motherboard. I still use an AGP card, so unfortunatly I cant get a SLI board. I've been reading some reviews, and I have one motherboard in mind, a Gigabyte GA-K8NS Ultra-939 NVIDIA nForce3 Ultra.

See it here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813128263

If any of you know anything about it or whatnot, I would love to know what you think about it. Also, if anyone has any other recommendations on a 939 socket agp board, PLEASE post them... Thanks a lot...

-Cris :D

i recommend waiting a couple of weeks more and getting the DFI NF3 939 board. it will most probably be the best socket 939 agp board available. where are you from so i canget a link for you

Well I've been told that DFI + 64 isnt a good combo, but I had thoughts that the source who told me that is WRONG. Looks to me like DFI is great though. Oh, I live in Texas.

thanks, cris

who ever told you that is extremely wrong DFI and 64 are the best combination you can spend your money on mate :)

DFI + 64 = the best

best overclocking options available sue to all the ram tweaks. also great support at www.dfi-street.com from DFI reps. and of course help from all the :anisx: members including me own a DFI 64 board.

just gonna find a link for you now

DFI if your using UTT memory , just remember to pair it with a nice beefy psu and not an antec.

MSI Neo2 aint bad, just has its little quirks . Both are prolly almost equal in terms of performance.

Neo2 + OCZ booster > DFI's weird nature and random deaths while using 5V vdimm rail.

can i ask what is wrong with the antec like i no there not the best but is there a problem with between them and the dfi or MSI... i remember you wrote something about there being a problem with them and the msi

Thats an awesome board. Listen to |3ourne he knows best. Nice one for suggesting the DFI board Davos

Enjoy your fast new rig mate.

Have you chosen a new CPU yet? :D
