Monsta 240, or the Hardware labs XFlow ?

I've decided to ignore my original plan of not adding my 290's to my loop, to start with, and have decided to get them wet from day one. I don't like the idea of having to drain and then re fill the loop to add them, I've tested them on air, and I'm going to run them for a week, before blocking them up.

I'm running an I5 4690, with a pair of XFX R9 290 DD's, and on whatever rad I decide to use I will be using Corsair SP120 white LED fans.

I have an XSPC RX360, ready to go in, and have a Monsta 240, and a hardware Labs Black Ice Stealth GT cross flow 240mm not being used, so out of the 2 what would be the best to add, and more importantly will it be enough ? cheers guys..

Are you going to do P/P?

Monstas are much better with push pull, since they're so thick a single row of fan can't move air well enough through them (this means a p/p monsta gets much more benefits compared to a 60mm p/p )

with the Monsta definitely, I've decided on the Monsta I was basically set towards that anyway, I just wanted to check. Yea, I've got a 420, and a 480 Monsta in my Enthoo Primo, and they're both in push pull, and my temps are great.

No contest for me if you can fit the Monsta in. 30mm at 30FPI on the black ice is way too loud for me. Also I have a 360mm Monsta running a single side of fans and plenty of air gets through even if you can't fit push/pull.

whats it like the enthoo primo t owork with i got one and cant wait to build my new x99 in it :D

It's great mate loads of room, I've got the Monsta 420 up top in push pull, and the 480 in the bottom in push pull, well I did, I had a mishap with the motherboard and cpu, so all that lives in the case now is the rads, and fans, oh, and a dead motherboard.

I was going to rebuild it, but decided on the Luxe instead, for a fresh build, and I'll sell the rads, and the 2 blocked up 7950's, and put the money towards a 1440 monitor.

With the MSI Z87 MPower, and Avexir core ram, not a lot mate, there was about 3mm in it, and the res bracket still fit, butv was to the mm, it took 2 people to get it back in. I'll post a picture for you now mate, the rads and board are still in the case.

Here you go mate, I tried to get the ram back in for you, but no chance, I have no idea how I got it out to begin with.

Damn! Now that would be a dream set up, Monstas with push pull! what temps were u running? Delta temps.

Yes mate Vipers, 120's and 140's.

The Monsta's aint cheap mate, the 3 x 140 was £98, and the 480 was £110, check the For sale or wanted section tomorrow mate, if your interested, these will be going up, for cheep, I just need to raise the cash for a R9 290 block.

The temps were awesome mate, with my 4760k @ 4.2 on 1.015v, and a pair of 7950's the cpu never went over 40, and the gpu's 45. I wish I could get at least one in the Luxe, but no chance, I even considered mounting the rad in the bottom, and putting the psu, in the front drive bays, but it's too tall, it will fit but without fans, so not really ideal.
