Mobile Website

I am aware that the idea of a mobile app was rejected, but this is something else. As I frequently find myself browsing these forums on my phone, I figured that a mobile version would be great! I am not sure about the limitations of whatever tools are available to do such a thing, but it would increase traffic to this page and make a more enjoyable place to socialize/techtalk (Or whatever you call what we do here ) at the same time.

Please consider this suggestion!

Websites can be styled in a way that they display correctly on differen devices. For example this website: http://getbootstrap.com/ . If you resize your browser it will change the layout so you don't have to scroll horizontally.

However to do this propperly the whole websites needs to be restyled..

Ill say the same thing I have all the other times its been asked. Its not viable for us ATM and would take too much work to get the ads working right. If I spend time on this I cant spend time doing reviews and/or running the site.

So I was thinking, Why not make TWO apps, now I will explain my idea.

first app: free version. make an app with ads on the bottom (like most free apps) and it will be able to only show the first paragraph of articles and maybe first few posts of a thread on the forums, and then redirect to the main website for the full content.

2nd website: paid app. no ads. full content availibilty. Now with this, probably only the regulars will buy it , so its basically extra money as we all love our pcs and will still monitor the website from the pc unless your out. so its kinda a win win situation as I see it.

Custom aps done right cost upwards of £5000 - sub builds them and charges a small fortune for it. I dont know about you lot but Im not spending that kind of money on a mobile app!

Trying to get an app working for a site like this is a complete arse.

We dont want to use forum ad ons because the ad support isnt up to a level Im happy with.

THE single most important thing for me is advertising - thats how I make the money to pay for the loan I got to buy the website in the first place!

Haha no kidding, I just went on the TTL Office sneak peak and saw no ads on it, just got one on the H105 review though. They don't always seem to trigger for me o.-

Unless the ads hes talking about are the ads in the beginning, like the corsair one. I've never seen any ads on the channel, ever!

Im always getting offered partnership for different companies to join a 'group' and what not. What ever it is though theres not THAT much money in it, I might even turn the ads off!

Refreshed a bunch of times and got one after 4 tries. Dafuq. I have AdBlock but Youtube is in my whitelist, so can't be that o.-
