Have you all bought bad clevo notebooks? I did extensive research, everyone loves sagers warranty service....and everyone seems to love the laptops as well. Almost all get awesome reviews.
The reason I wont want to get a toshiba, is because there WAY more expensive...
I basicaly want:
Pentium M(preferably 1.7 or above)
Wireless G
1024 megs of ram
nice video card (x700 mobile or better)
decent hardrive (at least 50 gigs, hopefully 7200 rpm)
15-17 inch widescreen
Warranty service? I've read about a fair few people getting fucked off
using it (if you need to) cos a lot of places moan about the warranty service being 'dis-organised'..... Have you gone to google and checked for bad reviews?
Toshiba's are much more expensive, but it will give you many pleasurable years of solid performance.... the do PWN all Lappies, I've got a Dell Inspiron 9300 which is also wicked... but Tosh's are renowned for being the best.... get what you feel is right....
PS - not all Sagers are Clevo models, the newer gaming ones are different models and do seem to get good reviews but third party companies.....
Alienware rebrand Clevo's......
so do:
Sager
ProStar
Promedion
Fosa
M-Tech
Eurocom
Some problems people mainly seem to have are crap BIOS's, shit warranty service and wank customer service............
Just my few words mate...... research into which model you want...... if you cannot afford Tosh, don't get it, if you
can afford Tosh, you'd be niave not to buy one :worship:
