Hi all,

just wondering who here plays minecraft. i recently got back into playing it and would love to team up with some new people and build

I play it a hell of a lot tbh, do you play vanilla, tekkit, feed the beast. I run my own servers for them all so ive pretty much gotta be on them all the time to watch them

i have the stone tier which is £5 a month and i never use more than 300mb with 5 people on

Rent a VPS. http://www.hostmedia.co.uk/virtual-servers/ are very cheap, the one that is around 50 a year would do for minecraft. - I have the cheapest one for my games (still under development) and its great.

Creeperhost.net has also been pretty good except for one of the VPS's we got from them took two weeks to setup because FedEx shipped the actual rack to New York instead of LA....

Although come to think of it their website went down for about 2-3 weeks which meant no access to their CP which is incredibly sexy for an interface (includes install for Bukkit mods)

Thrust VPS has been really good to us and only gone down once in two years and they've been really good with their billing and invoices. Some hosts tell you 2 days prior.

I used to play a lot of Tekkit but now I just play every now and again. I host a server off my home PC that I play on, I think it would be fun to get a couple more guys on there though!

I played a lot of Minecraft with my little brothers back in the day. Now I mostly check in on new minecraft updates from time to time and see how it's developing with Jeb and mojang. I also had a lot of bukkit servers but crashes has done them in. If any of you guys wanna hop in on a server then just pm me.

Got this the other day and have downloaded the Feed The Beast mod pack, but still trying to figure out what the whole purpose of the game is really.

Can't find servers either not sure where to look and what you would do on them to be honest.

the point is you make somethng ,,, something silly or something complex like i built a 320bit fully working machine that told the time on my xbox and that froze that now im making it on here. not sure how to set up a server though.
