Midnight Smurf: Watercooled Edition

Great Sleeving Mate! I Wish I Could sleeeve!

-The Orange One

Thanks man! And I know you can sleeve if you tried, because I am probably the least artistic or crafty person I know and I could do it just fine :D

Very nice build

are those 4:3 monitors?
Thanks! Yes they are 4:3, I got them for free and don't really see a reason to switch right now.

That sleeving looks absolutely terrible. I'll do you a favor and take it off your hands ;)

Nice try!

Quick update, all of the sleeving is now done except for the 24 pin, which I plan to just sit down with tomorrow and finish (the longer I spend sleeving it the longer my PC is down). I couldn't find a guide to do SATA power cables, so I just wung it and did what I thought made sense. Here are the results:

For sure, I've had nothing but a happy experience with him. His stuff is awesome too, so much better looking than the Bitfenix Alchemy Extensions I have.

OK guys sleeving is all done, I'm gonna try to get a final photoshoot in tomorrow. My fingers probably hate me, but I said I'd get the 24 pin done today so I did.

I haven't been around the forums for a while so have missed this thread....

The build is coming along super sweet, well done dude!

Final Pictures

OK guys here they are. For now, the build is complete, and you won't be hearing back from me until I start in on the next phase of this rig. I already have some ideas, but I gotta take a break for now. Anyway, I'm going to let the pictures speak for themselves. I'm not the best photographer, but you'll get the idea. Enjoy!

Thanks for looking at my build you guys, and I'll see you round the forums! :D :D :D :D

that looks pretty good, but the powercables for the HDD's looks kinda wierd.
but that sleeving looks superb! and for first time sleeving that is sick!
are you going to sleeve the frontpanel connectors?

Yup, totally aware the SATA power cables are weird. I had the drive bay set up next to the power supply before (check earlier pictures) but I couldn't get the sleeved cables to fit into that tiny area. I broke like 3 SATA connectors trying to get them on... Eventually I'll be removing the drive cage altogether and stealth mounting the HD's somewhere.

Thanks for the kind words on the sleeving, I really like the way it came out. I will be sleeving the front panel eventually, but to do that I'd have to remove the front panel, and to remove the front panel I need to take out the res, and to take out the res I need to take apart the loop... So that won't be happening until the next time I need to take the loop apart.
