Mayhems Pastel/Aurora - help needed

Hi,

Basically Im soon going to get either Pastel blue or aurora nebula blue (still deciding - if you have a suggestion on which to go for let me know!)

I have seen many people try to darken the pastel blue (adding 30ml of deep blue to 750ml), i would have to get a bucket load to do this.

is there any other way i can get a darker blue (instead of a baby blue).

Dye combinations maybe?

heres an image of blue pastel, the person added 30ml of deep blue to 750ml below

Im going to need about 3-4 liters of fluid

its already going to cost me ~£60 for the fluid but then id have to buy 150mls = £5.99 * 15....£90 quid (cost more than the fluid!) of deep blue dye to get it as dark as the one in the pic (i want it alittle darker so maybe 180mls)

so is there a dye i can add that would bring the result quicker? rather than buying 7 10ml bottles of deep blue dye?

any ideas?

Mayhem, any ideas?

thanks!

im sure he does black dye, but i cant actualy fined it either. Send him a message on here, although he will probably make a post in theis thread if he sees it.

The only thing i can say about aurora is when your system is powered off for a little while, when the flakes start to settle they sit on top of any barbs pointing upwards and become sort of lodged between the barb and the hose, they will stay in that position until you try and wiggle/tap them free again. For reference i used 1/2" barbs with 7/16 hose at the time. \

The aurora was starting to sort of settle inside the small lines on my 7970 EK block.

Of course it does say for show PC's only so i dont blame anyone for it.

Im now using Pastel Blue which i much prefer to be honest.

You can see the Pastel here on my Project log, Under a white Cathode however it looks more like a baby blue than what it does in the pictures.

Why do you need 4 litres of fluid is that 2 loops send mayhem a message no one will be able to give you better advice than the guru behind it

If you contact me direct at michael@mayhems.co.uk wich a pic of the colour you would like to achive and the ammount you will need ill help you out. Allso let me know what you allready have and ill replacte it all here and see what we can come up with. If you just after producing the same colour above work out hw much dye you need let me know and ill sort you it all out and a 1 off price.

Please do not use primchill crap with our dye as we will not support it nither condone that rubbish mixed with our products. We have managed to brake down "ALL" the primochill range in our testing and would never advise people to use it. if any thing Feser is acuctaly better than primochill.

Im not on here alot now due to my work load has gone though the roof. Im working 18 Hour days to keep up with the demmad as well as support.

Perfect, I'll contact you when I start putting things together! (end of may) thanks!

Ps. The couloir I actually want is very similar in shade or tone to raspberry purple just not purple if you understand what I mean, like a royal blue. But I'll hopefully discuss that with you soon!

ive decided to go with X1 fluid instead, at least until this thermodynamic fluid is avaliable!
