Clouds Rig

Hey all,

Figured i would introduce myself by showing off my rig, after all, you can tell a lot about a person by their PC!

Specs:
5960X@4.0
Asus Rampage V Extreme
2xeVGA 980Ti
32GB G.Skill Ripjaws
512GB SM951 OS Drive
2x5TB Toshiba Storage Drive in RAID 1
eVGA SuperNOVA 1300G2
Custom loop consisting of a Hardware Labs SR2 360 and 480, both in push pull with 14xPhanteks SP-120's and all EK Blocks with an EK D5 pump.

I do have intentions of adding a 3rd 980Ti, just because, no other reason. But that is why I have my second card in the not so ideal second slot. This machines primary purpose is gaming but i also spend a lot of free time playing in VMs hence the 32GB instead of 16GB of the Ripjaws.

Also, this is a modified Enthoo Primo in order to allow room for the extra wide radiators.

Full Rig. I need to clean up cabling, but im in the middle of moving around my server and sophos so i have to make new cables and i've been feeling lazy.

The server and sophos that are hiding in the garage until we get a vented/filtered enclosure built for them. The Server is my old 3930k with 32gb ram with a 970 and 24TB of storage. The old Mac Pro is only used as a sophos UTM, its a little much for what it is but it was just laying around doing nothing otherwise.

And then finally, i picture i was never going to show but i figure what the hell. This is what happens when you try to turn Ice Dragon Fluid into red pastel. Keep in mind that i used 5 bottles of Mayhems Red Dye and it never got any darker than it did with 2 bottles.

My wife thought i should leave it this way, and honestly, i was tempted but ultimately i just couldnt commit.

Welcome from another even newer newbie!

That's not a computer, that's a work of art. As such, you should power it down, box it up and ship it to me so I can properly admire it.

That thing kicks my new computer's butt in performance and looks. So jelly...
