The FX55 is the same but I use CPU volts set at 1.475-1.525 (depends on which bench, 3dm03 uses highest volts) and use special VID voltage set at 113%.

X2 will bench at 264x12

FX55 will bench @ 252x14 or 272*13

It's excellent that you are sharing your BIOS settings :B, it's very time consuming testing all the different possible variations...

I used to always get stuck sorting out which are the best settings, a lot of which I still have no idea about!

I'm sure these will come in handy for many people

I dont mind sharing TBH - most times I just CBA to post, spent many days helping Gollum, Scorchio et al in the summer and learned a lot over that period.

Just so happened I was taking piccies of the EXPERT board and I'd promised fatty i'd do it, hope it proves useful guys.

Remember this is for BH5 RAM.

I only change the voltages and when I am using over 268Mhz I have to change RAM timings to 2-2-2-6 instead of 2-2-2-5.

Gotta ask, why u got the PCI-E frequency @ 115 Mhz..?

It expands the performance of the GPU's - for benching I have gone up to 120Mhz

So you keep it at 115mhz 24/7? Doesn't do any damage or anything? Mine is still set at 100mhz on this ASUS board. I found 105 gave me the best score with the DFI board for some reason. Not a huge amount in it though.

If i remember right the old ati cards hated freq changes, but nvidia liked it...

is that still the same..?

My 6800GT's enjoyed 110mhz best.

I do keep 115 mhz 24/7, I should really run at 110 but I keep forgetting to change it lol.

All I can say is that the old 5900 would not like more than 105Mhz, 6800 like 110 and 7800's will perform at up to 120mhz.

I think it's more due to the RAM than the core, but thats just my speculation, totally baseless but my 2p and probably right .

Not sure about ATI cards Animal mate - haven't had one since 9800.

Roughly I aint got a clue - in terms of benching it was the difference between 6th and 4th in the world in 3dmark03 and 10th and 6th in the world in 3dm2001 and 8th and 13th in the world in 3dmark05.

Every ounce of performance counts - even a little can go a long way.

I guess each system is different - crank your up and see how you get on and report back.
