Errr...I think my Epox mobo had/has an option of adjusting the PCI-E voltage?
I remember a couple stories back in the good ol days of AGP where upping the speed to 68 or above crashed the computer unless the AGP voltage was increased? Does the same idea still apply now?
Can't change PCI-E voltages on this mobo so stock for me all teh way - I just do not know what that is on this board - in saying that most PCI-E cards have the additional socket for any extra juice required.
Not yet mate - been unusually busy at work and needed to do a lot of stuff.
Gonna make a start tonight and see how I go - probs ready tomoz in all fairness.
Boardy - I have 4 save slots I can use for cmos reloaded I can set-up for phase at stable overclock on both duallie and FX - and do the same for water or air - but you need to let me know ASAP- If I dont hear from ya then I will set-up phase and water settings for ya (on air you might need to adjust the water voltages and max overclock).
Welcome to the EPUK forums freind, enjoy your stay.
The 4600 will love these settings - the OCZ RAM performance/stability will depend on what ram chips they are (BH5, TCCD etc...) - if you dont have much joy - set ram setting to auto and see how the cpu clocks with these BIOS settings.
Be mindful of the Volts you use, dependant on the cooling you have on your cpu.
