Matt's NZXT Phantom Case swap

Tomorrow I am getting my Phantom. I have tidied my room and removed pretty much everything from my desk to give me space to work and I will be taking photos step by step.

Some of the photos are touched up briefly in shotwell as the camera isn't very good at macro imaging.

Here is the system in its current case. Apologies for any dust. And yes..... the images have been edited slightly.

Nice N clean except for the 4 rubber dong rear fan mounts...I'd have those things circumcised Lol. I never liked those style mounts, the eventually loosen up or dry and become brittle. I prefer to bolt them in (just my preference) wouldn't want a mishap from stray piece of rubber or vibration/flopping fan (never seen it happen but that's the way my mind works...strange Lol), but I'm being picky.

Might also do some sleeving, especially on the leads of that same fan. It just pops to your eye...unattractive. Install a NH d14 CPU cooler and maybe upgrade your GPU if possible. Just a little house cleaning for your rigs' new home and BOOM, you have a brand new rig.

EDIT...Just remembered you were installing a cooler master CPU cooler. Sorry I was only remembering the picture of that rear fan mounting and lead doh.

I've been pretty busy so I finally got round to taking the system apart.

I'm not going to bother with too many more pics as you can see what the case looks like on the NZXT site and I don't really want to show the cable management round the back until I have a chance to tidy it up.

I will hopefully do a few more of the case on my desk after I remove the fingerprints XD
