Hey guys, long time viewer of the OC3D videos, but first post here. Here is my latest personal computer build done around March-April 2013, except for the monitors. Things are getting a little dusty inside as this computer is running 24X7 for my computer business and other server duties such as Plesk.

CPU: Intel 3770K @ 4.8GHz
Mobo: Asus Maximus V Formula
RAM: G.Skill Sniper 16GB (8x2) 1866
Video: (2) Gigabyte Windforce 7950s
PSU: XFX Pro Black Edition 850 (Hybrid fan mode was defective but didn't feel like sending it back in as it worked fine with the fan always on)
SSD: (2) OCZ Vector 128GB RAID 0
HDD: (2) Seagate Barracuda 3.0TB
First Generation WD Green 1.0TB
Cooler: Corsair H100i
Case: NZXT Switch 810
Monitors: (3) Qnix QX2710 2560X1440 (the stands are cheap, but I put them all on a triple monitor stand within a couple of weeks after purchase)
Original Logitech G15 Keyboard and G5 mouse

looks good but id have the fans pushing air out rather than pushing in or pulling out. and then having the front fans pulling in and the back pulling in with a filter, then you might get less dust

I have tried the top fans pushing out or pulling out, made no difference in performance, but I seemed to have a lot more dust buildup on the radiator with them pushing. I'm not sure what way the front and back fans are rotating. The front and bottom are filtered, but not the back.

i was just trying to get you to keep positive pressure to try and keep dust down

The front feels to be pulling in and the back pushing out. I could try flipping the back around so its pulling in as well, but would be in need of some kind of filter material.

I recently got some silverstone 120mm and 140mm fan filters and would recommend them. Only like £2 or £3 each.

Sold my two AMD cards over the last couple of days on eBay for more then I payed for them when I built the computer back in March. I don't think that happens too often in the computer world. Now I am down to Intel HD 4000 graphics until I order my replacements.

Picked up a pair of Asus Direct CU II GTX 780 cards. Showed up on open box and I snatched them up as fast as I could because I know they go very fast. They are definitely a nice upgrade. So much smoother then the crossfire was. Didn't really realize how bad it was before until now.

aww man, no fair the 780 ones come with backplates :(. my 280x didn't and it sagged like a B in my old case.

And yeah, selling AMD 'cards has never been easier :D

Fantastic purchase you got there. Well done.

...Welcome to the Green side

Thanks, the last time I was on the green side is when I built a computer with two 7800GTs in 2004/2005. Been AMD since then but now seemed like a good time to switch.

Very sexy pair you have :p

Indeed, I love the ROG colors!

I do have one issue I have come across however and it is just for Crysis 3. An assortment of other games I have ran are just fine such as Battlefield 4 and Metro LL. The computer will just shut off and turn back on with a second or two delay. I was thinking it may be because I tried to save some money and bought a cheaper XFX power supply, but why then only for one game? I believe it was made by Seasonic so I figured it would be great but now I question it. I do know the hybrid mode does not work, the fan stays off at all times! This was when I first built the computer back in March. I touched the power supply and just about burnt my hand. But I didn't want to send it back and wait as it worked fine in normal mode.

I wish I had the money to throw at 2 cards like that! Look really nice and work well with the board.

And when I saw your monitors, well, lets just say that it made me look at my 'Triple monitor setup' and laugh :p

I also retired the 10 year old Logitech G5 mouse and replaced it with a Corsair M95 and the MM600 mouse mat. It definitely helps with my aiming abilities in shooters but I still am not very good lol! I use only 4 of the programmable buttons so far, it takes some getting used to.
