Maybe its cause we dont know these people and theres something hidden thats supposed to be known or they are just ragging on a normal couples happy wedding? Either way, i dont get it and i have a distinct feeling that if i did i wouldnt find it funny at all.

It's just a satire by the Onion. They have all kinds of sarcastic articles and such that are riots... I don't know where they get their ideas but i love them

To me this seems like a 21stCent SNL humor ..

.. in the 80s/90s SNL was funny.

I can see the joke, but I`d have to have been semi drunk to have typed, edited and posted it tbh. The effort would have been better spent.
